Dam was that a sprint car track Or the mint 400 shheeesh i think the track crew was tippin cans instead of grading and smoothing track. Interesting class of cars would like to hear more about it!
Remember Max Headroom literally BLEW THE PEOPLE'S MINDS in the Mid eighties. Because they genuinely believed he was CGI. Because nobody knew something like that would exist.
We knew he wasn't CGI. He'll we didn't even know what CGI was. Remember this was the Tron generation. We knew they were Jeff Bridges, that guy from Babylon 5 and that girl from Laverne & Shirley.
I need to know what this was called. I'm trying to find the original or dvd if possible. I grew up watching this as a kid with my dad who has since passed and would love to watch the whole video/videos again. If anyone knows the name please let me know.
racing sounds..yes..... wanna be commentator non stop annoying voice over blocking all the REAL SOUNDS OF RACING ......FK NO ..not even describing the actual race or crash👎👎👎👎👎👎🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮
A great lot of photos, my brother features in one and possibly my car and my brothers in the foreground spectating in another couple. Also witnessed the Jennings accident and have several interesting shots as well.

I participated in one of these at the New Smyrna speedway during biketoberfest 1995. One of the worst decisions of my life! Waking up in the back of an ambulance while paramedics pick gravel out of you is not a fun experience. I'd love to find a copy of the video. I've been looking on and off for years to no avail.
Great video! Love the amazing range of machinery. Amid the hot Evos and Imprezas, respect to the first gen Legacy, hot Escort (its not a real rally without an Escort bring driven sideways!), really nice RX3... and was that Trevor Crowe's 1980s Starlet V8 I spotted there?!? Thanks for posting!!!
Man, this is racing. Four very different cars, all on the limit on a short course, no room for error. And the legend of Tony Palmer on the mike. Fantastic stuff. Thanks for posting!
