This is my favorite Bike Ride Channel I live in The City of H - Hayward, California The Heart of the Bay and The Great Bay Area I'm from both cities of the bay San Francisco and Hayward I'm Kevin Joseph King
I absolutely love your videos. Thanks so much posting them. Is there any tool that you are aware of that I can use to remove the bottom right rear view video? I use your videos for virtual indoor cycling and I find that part of the video a bit distracting. Any suggestion is greatly appreciated. Again, thanks for these fantastic videos.
Sorry about that, no, don't think so. But maybe I should just stop doing that--it'd save on production time even if I still take the video 'for safety'.
@@SFBicycleBayArea That would be great. I love using your videos to do indoor cycling class. It is especially fun to do indoor cycling to videos of routes that I have ridden many times. Only thing missing is that nasty wind gusts that we get in the East Bay hills, LOL Again though, thanks so much for creating these videos.
Do you have an app like all trails that you could use to show the path. I live in Gilroy and go up north on weekends and would like to try some of your routs. If you do not have alltrails that is ok I can try to map it out. Thank you for the video!!!
Fantastic looking ride. I've ridden all over the Eastbay and must have missed that trail. Thanks for posting. If you have a chance to get over to the Peninsula, I suggest that you do a Kings Mountain - Santa Cruz Mountains loop.
What they did to Bancroft is horrible. I grew up in Oakland and rode my bicycle all over Oakland with out any problems. Car traffic flowed smoothly. Now it is horrible to drive in Oakland. Many streets are only one lane each way. The rodes were paid for by taxes from Automobile Gas, Registration, License fees and more and they were at least 2 lanes each way. Now these roads are being taken away by the bicycles that pay road tax and gasoline tax as well as regestration fees every ear for their bicyles. I ride a bicycle too and I never had a problem with a car as a bicycle rider since 1964. Back then we rode facing traffic that was the law which actually made more since and was safer because you could see what is coming your way. Parked drivers could see you approaching thus reducing the risk of a car door opening collision.
Riding against traffic on a 2-way in both directions street? SO GLAD we are starting to make the streets safe for the 8-80 riders instead of just the brave young men. Bancroft was built with traintracks down the middle, the previous configuration of wide streets leads to 'freeway mentality' while driving, I know I feel the urge to speed when I'm driving a motorvehicle, too. Too many pedestrian/cyclist/driver deaths and too many discouraged on so many streets that are mostly empty most of the time. Way too many drivers going WAY over the speed limit on Bancroft and similar streets (INTL, Foothill, San Leandro). Time to put that "GET OUT OF MY WAY!!!" attitude in a box and lose it in the closet.
I'm planning on biking from Fruitvale up to hillmont with my one year old. Not gonna lie, I'm a little worried. I did the ride a couple of times and the biking itself is fine but in the afternoon the area gives me a bad feeling.
Just came across your channel. I love your channel. Immediately subscribed. Love POV bike rides of awesome places with just the natural sounds of the area and no talking. And more importantly, no stupid music in the background. I can't stand it when the music drowns out the natural sounds. Keep up the good work. I'm a fan. Thanks.
This video was filmed with a DJI Action 2 on the front mounted in a SmallRig mount amzn.to/3VtwMg3 and the back is filmed with a Drift Ghost XL using their mount set on the back rack.
Yeah, that's ~ an hour, infrastructure not too terrible. I had to look up which one was Oracle...that's old Telephone Company Park. Or is this a filming request?
Nice.👍🏼 Very nearly an unfortunate dog-related incident at 24:14, the person in the pink coat had no real control of that Great Dane, it could have been quite nasty.
What a cracking ride. I thoroughly enjoyed watching this video and I hope to cycle along a few of those miles myself in '24. I'll no doubt be one of those pesky tourists! Haha! Thanks for continuing to post your rides. Cheers👍🏼
