My second book (red colour one) does not have those additional photos @9.05 . I’m wondering if my version has a printing error or is this a rare variant of the extended edition ?
Nice. I was at the previous show there that he mentioned ...when he started improvising a soundtrack for a stunt plane overhead. Anyone know what year that was?
Testimony: These young ladies are the real deal! We had the pleasure of seeing them perform in Oriental, NC *AND* Morehead City, NC. Not only are they consumate performers they are approachable and personal following their performances. I understand they are are taking a well deserved break from performing. Wish them all the best and look forward to supporting them in their future endeavors. All the best young ladies!
I forgot to mention the time that Al told us to tell the local Columbia Records staff that he signed Bruce Springsteen to get back at Clive for signing Pink Floyd.
Al Green and Ann Peebles were on the famous Memphis label Hi Records. The song, I'm guessing, John played for him was probably 'Tired Of Being Alone' .
The Mae Pang documentary out last year was a troubling portrayal of John Lennon in that his way of using his position as Mae's employer to begin a relationship during his separation from Yoko wasn't right. I think Mae's documentary seemed straightforward and she remains very fond of John. I walked away from that documentary seeing John as a less than perfect person and someone who shouldn't be hero-worshipped. Walls and Bridges and Rock and Roll albums remain favorites of his work. I will always admire him as a musical talent.
This is why the wold needs to realize that neurodiversity is a difference, not a disability. Just a difference in processing! Jacob is amazing, and I’m so glad he’s been able to express himself!!! What a beautiful mind, I’m so glad he’s wired the way he is :)
Herb is a legend. Great voice that can sing harmony with anyone. He sang backup on some of Linda Ronstadt's most famous recordings. Also sang with Emmylou Harris and many others. Great banjo player. But most of all kind, gentle and humble.
I love this record. I listen to it often. I didn't know, that the photographer also shot the cover for the first Cars record, another of the best ever debuts.
I miss this woman very vey much. She was my Idol and |I met her on a few occasions after her shows. I have the photos. RIP and thank you for the music you are part of my world. Mike XXXXXX
I have to say that he was a friend of mine since I was 11 years old. He was a mentor to me and I worked with him off and on most of all my life as long as he was alive. And I want to say what a wonderful sweet and gentle and generous man this fellow was. Aside from what he did with the Beatles he was an innovator and he did more for radio I think in southeast us than anyone.
