I'm sharing all things to help you sell on Etsy! We'll talk about increasing your Etsy listings views, what to say to customers, increasing sales on Etsy, lots of Etsy tips for beginners, and so much more!
If you want to launch, grow, pivot, or scale your Etsy shop--- or you’ve always wanted to develop the mindset and skills to run your own business--- then this channel is for you. It's time to create YOUR Etsy success story!
I own a registered trademark on my designs. But copycats is still a concern. It's actually stopped me from moving forward in a bigger way. But the moving forward is such great advice. I definitely never run out of ideas. I need to get out of the stuck mindset.
@@oooBoEoNooo It is the same stuff you find on RU-vid. After buying the $1,000 course, she will try to upsell you on another "mastermind" course $5,000, her Wolf School$40.00 , and a "Christmas Course" $400.00 (you can pay on Klarna), and her book (shouldn't all this be included in the initial $1,000?). I joined Wolf School for a month, it was just her looking a best sellers on Etsy and going through Pinterest. I get the hustle, but it didn't work for me. I was doing great with the free content on RU-vid. I researched before purchasing it last year because I wanted it to work. It might work for others, but my sales have dropped by 48 percent since last year. She will say it's because "[I] suck". When I asked about this in the Top Seller Secret group, she deleted it and responded that "we never talk about our failures," which begs the question, how do you fix your failures if you never talk about them? I really hope that if you decide to purchase a course from any "teacher", they offer a money-backed guarantee. That is my experience.
Brittany is the best teacher I have ever had the opportunity to learn from. I have never heard anyone that teaches Esty as good as she does, everything she does is packed with information and I learn so much from her courses.
I just read a very discouraging Reddit thread about becoming a digital Etsy seller. they keep saying it’s over saturated. No sales. But you made it? Is there hope for me starting today? Looking for some encouraging words from you please. Thnx 🙏
When you say to stop expecting these big results when you’re just starting out, What about all the RU-vidrs that interview these people that make all this money after their first couple of months? To me if you have seen it’s possible, I get frustrated when I’ve done all the things you’re told to do and still crickets. 😢
I won't speak for Brittany-- or any other youtubers-- but what I've noticed as an Etsy coach is that everyone comes to the table with a totally different level of experience, skills, and mindset. So some people will knock it out of the park on their first try. But most of us (myself included when I started) take a while to see traction.
Thank You Lizzie for your wonderful interviews - I love them! (you're VERY GOOD at that!😌👍) Your approach is different from the rest of the 'Etsy experts' and I'm always learning so much.... THANK You THANK You! 🙏💓
This video has been a life saver, I learned so so much, thank you! A lot of Etsy channels are really forced and unnatural, with a lot of scare tactics 😅 so this was refreshing and had new info. I love how much Jenny loves and appreciates her items. Thank you again!
Hi thank you for this information, I am a hand made seller , do you have a list for handmade sellers ? Also I will like to sell anything else than t shirts I sell shirts and sweatshirts right now but is not going well How do these new shops do it ? To become best sellers or sell a lot ? 😢
Hi Paulina! I think it can be very difficult to compete with the POD sellers when you're making shirts by hand. But everything is figureoutable! This list would definitely apply to handmade sellers!
Hi Miss Smiley I got your 17 dlls promotion to test the trend weekly report last week And today I receive a email but when I go to my dashboard I xan only see the October 7 report month? Is that correct? Or the promotion was only to see the pass reports and not the future one for the rest of the month ?
Love listening to the podcast when I walk our dog Bailey but I had to stop a few times with this one to pay attention to Jude. Heard Jude on a different podcast so it was great to hear more from him. Fantastic. May have had a little tear at one point…Sooo want to try get on his email list. Fellow ADHDer and here for all you have to share.
Wow 🤯 🤩 This really a deep and goes with a mental audio that I’ve had in my head as a voiceover for my videos as to why I want to make and sell! There is a background story to it, a process.
Lizzie!!! This is what you have done for us and our business. You are always there for us and are so supportive. I have so much love and respect for who you are and what you put out there for all of us to learn and better ourselves!❤Tina
For Printify-- returns and exchanges are not supported if your customer ordered the wrong size, color, or simply changed their mind. However, in case of a damaged product or a manufacturing error, they do offer a free reprint or a refund if you contact them within 30 days of product delivery.
Thank you so, so much! I was able to take away some real gold nuggets from your video. I can see you put alot of work into this for us and I appreciate you😊 Tammy, Cape Cod
@@howtosellyourstuff they are getting lots of views actually! So I did my research and found niches that I knew were in demand. Decided to put some ad spend toward a few of them and this one in particular has over 35k views, over 800 clicks and quite the ad spend. The ROAS are under 1. 38 orders so far. Product cost is under $4. Basically the product is breaking even with its ad spend. The views have really helped my shop gain sales velocity yet I'm seeing no profit. I would love to hear any strategies, thoughts or feedback on advertising such a low cost item? Do you think it will ever become profitable?
I've just started entering into the printables world and am getting some winners. I am totally on board with moving away from physical products. I can really see the appeal of this! I am going to look into Gold City Ventures! Also Sales Samurai, I know it is great for digital products.
The free version of Everbee doesn't give sales data. And it is way too expensive to subscribe compared to other services. If they would cut the monthly price in half, they would probably have like a million more subscribers because that is the main reason I hear people say they won't sign up.
I totally get where you're coming from Jen! I think there's always ways to at least get started without paying for the tools. You can glean information from just looking at the listing, for badges, and reviews. But the tools, while not free, can definitely save time and offer more detail.
I had three very successful stores on etsy. One store was shut down because I was selling leather slings for rifles even thou I was not using the word rifle they shut it down then shut down my other two stores because the first store was shut down. No warning no second chance no reason why... At least with ebay you get several warnings now its time for a change. I will be giving Goimagine a try now. People love etsy as long as they are making money, once they lose that etsy is evil and yea etsy is evil.
Hi Lizzie! Can you have a coaching call for those Etsy sellers who are not quite beginners but would like an extra push to get to the next level? Asking for a friend 😂
I tier my wholesale prices by volume. So I offer about 30% off retail for maybe a dozen, then 40% for 20 and then 50% for 36 and up or some such metric.
Hi there! Thanks soooo much for watching!! We keep my guest's shop and niche confidential because there are so many copycats out there. Super sad-- but his allows them to share their story and tips with the listeners without risking their livelihood. I hope you enjoyed watching as much as we enjoyed recording this for you!!
I don't need to feel "loved" by Etsy. I just need to feel secure and respected as a shop owner. The best way that Etsy can provide a safe atmosphere for shop owners is to offer real human customer service again and stop forcing shop owners to opt into offsite marketing, etc. I have had my Etsy shop since 2012. Etsy was always such a warm and friendly place to sell. Now, it is extremely volatile and rocky. Not to mention the p0rn that is allowed to be sold on the platform, which has made it a very unsafe place for children anymore. I respectfully disagree with your gueats statement that Etsy isn't doing anything wrong. Etsy has done so much wrong in the past 4 years.
Hi there!! I'm so sorry for any confusion! My podcast is a GREAT resource for free Etsy tips! I also share a lot on TikTok @HowtoSellYourStuff. For more free resources-- you might like my most popular download: "4 Strategies that helped me grow my Etsy sales from $25 to $6k+ per month"-- with this you'll also get a video series emailed to you: www.howtosellyourstuff.com/site/4-strategies-opt-in
My pleasure!! So glad you're here!! I don't have any book recommendations specific to Etsy because it all changes sooooo fast! BUT my favorite business books are here: www.howtosellyourstuff.com/resources#section-1636486041116
I came across your RU-vid channel by accident and your positive 'vibes' (that sounds so hippy-dippy!) make me really happy. I find it interesting that many people in the Etsy 'sphere' seem to have ADHD. I know Starla Moore and her partner have said that they suspect they have ADHD. John from goImagine seems to share our intense energy. My ears literally pricked up like a cat when you mentioned ADHD - I just happened to be thinking about neurodiversity in the online selling circle; thinking "oh, this is probably just in my imagination" and you mentioned having ADHD! I guess we neurodiverse people just have that drive to do it our own way
YESSSS!!!! So so soooo common in the creative entrepreneur! I think you'd love episode 108 from this podcast! My guest is an ADHD special who talks all about this. It was my convo with her that made me realize I prob have it: www.howtosellyourstuff.com/blog/108
