The swash never even rotates like that it's literally impossible due to the main shaft that goes through it. So this is entirely irrelevant to the quality.
Well this seems like an easy problem to fix but i whould still be disappointed if i bought something expensive and important like that and it comes untested This fault could have easily destroy servos and cause uncotrolled landing
how to fix!!!! if I keep both sticks down to the left while I turn on my tgy-i10. I come to a hidden menu. where I can I calibrate sticks and potentiometer
I had the same issue but with pot centering, took the thing apart and reseated connectors for the rudder, that seemed to fix it for a while. Just checked it now and it still chatters at the far right stick movement (like the video). Strange how it only seems to affect the rudder channel and mostly far right. I'll take it apart again and try to find out if rudder right is signal low or high as that might indicate if it is the supply or ground side.
I decided to fix it myself. After opening back cover ... problem is gone... I have checked pots & cables & PCB- no sign of faulty behavior... No problem since ( ~2 weeks already). Will monitor... ... cont Last year problem was back - I inspectd connectors of the wires that connect pots-PCB to main board by microscope. There was a wokmanship problem - wires in the connectors not fixed properly (not crimped). Now it is OK since then.
I have the same problem. I found out that the soldering is bad. Dry solder on the small PCB connected to the pot. I did some touch up and the unit is good again.
gyro shelf in 450 PRO is smaller then module footprint. When installed on too small shelf + very soft foam - it behaved a bit unstable. Now I have made a dedicated shelf + piece of metal + medium soft foam + cables fixed trough soft foam to prevent vibrations - looks much better.
Very nice flying. I have a Hobby King 450 and plan to install the Vbar 600 this weekend. What problem did you have installing the module on your Trex 450?
@rizandamom - I use MG90S (my original DS410M ware dead after few/40+/ flights with normal FB head - and some crashes of course :) ). The VBAR600 settings I use here (on the movie) were good for indoor "gentle" flying. I had a long break in this project - soon I'm going to continue outside with some mild-3D, if weather is good enough... or abandon it at all ;)
I know there are many ways to handle this problem. Please mind that pot's fluid is good for short time only. RC radio is something you need to trust anytime (I have crashed few times because of pots). I have posted this movie just to ilustarate problem on forum. It is fixed now (at least I hope so :) )
