Thanks for watching. I didn’t say it was the poorest country, but one of Europe’s poorest countries. It is definitely still in that list and you can see that in google. I also say a lot of good things about Albania, maybe focus on those a little more ;)

Best video on Albania I've seen so far, hands down. Excellent job! I had a boyfriend from Albania and he was 23 when it opened up. He said no one was even allowed to fly across their airspace. They were told they were the best country in the world. Well now that I see your video, I'd have to agree. Amazing doesn't sum it up. Mountains to the sea. The hospitality, etc.

Wow! Fantastic video in every way. I am an older American, lived in the Philippines after retiring, and sadly had to come back to the US due to a social security snafu. I might go now to Panama, but if I follow my desire I will move to Albania.

4:51 As an Albanian I can confirm the cocacola souvenir claim! I remember in late 80' a Coca-Cola bottle floated on an Albanian beach from Italy or a passing ship. And there were swimmers scrambling to get it! It was regarded as we would regard a ufo fallen from the sky today. 🤷♂️ 😅 🍾 This because the country had been isolated by the communist regime for 40 years. You could not travel out of the country, and foreigners who came to visit would be very few and closely escorted by police. So you could not interact with people from other countries.

We just got back from Albania yesterday. We enjoyed the country, scenery, the rocky beach, and searching for hidden bunkers throughout the countryside.
Probably my favourite country and the best trip I've ever done - I went in September 2022 and toured round for about 12 days. I loved it so much - it was very safe, and very friendly. The food was incredible - I still dream about Lilli's Homemade Food in Berat! It'll be overrun with tourists in ten years, I'm glad I went when it was still unspoiled.
