I have an 18 ST with Roush intake, full Roush exhaust. Ford performance tune M-14204-fsta and a K04 turbo with brembo full brake kit. 29psi boost and 335whp and 375fpt. It is a real fun car!
So I think originally these cars came with Bridgestones, Just recently I bought a 2013 ISF an ultrasonic blew off my close friend it has 64,000 miles on it I think just under 12,000 units were built worldwide with 5000 units that came to the US my 13 in my color and there’s probably I think 100 for built year 14 like 86… so I wonder how many are left in my year, I have the same exhaust system the car is on Swift Springs
Great sound clips I now know what my car sounds like. Cai, mbrp full exhaust, headers, 95mm bbk throttle body, catch can,lz1 intake manifold, hp-tuner with 5star tuning. Again Thanks for the sound clips!!!! Man I’m feeling good!🎉
A proper tune from a good tuner that's experienced with stall converters will give you the best of both worlds. You will never shift manually as fast as the ECM/TCM can. Re map shift tables and TCC Lockup. If you didn't tune this for the cam your rev limiting before you get through the meat of your power band now. Effectively wasting what the cam gave you.
Laughed hard when you said you thought your truck would pull on this, you also did full throttle with a cold engine.. horrible for the car, inexperienced kid. These do 0-60 in 5.2 seconds when the engine is warmed up.
I do the same thing esp pulling a trailer, it increases the shift points in the first 3 most important gears so you can gain speed properly when pulling a load or just launching in general, and not have to buy a programmer to increase it for ya!
So in the 4L60E there’s a clutch pack that’s called a overrun clutch pack and when you shift manually like this you do get less clutch slippage and more gear engagement but if you keep doing this you’ll ruin your overrun clutch pack I found this out the hard way 😂 but if you want to keep doing so don’t say I didn’t inform you 😂
