I WAS interested mate but lost the will to live, cant you get on with it ???????? just put the price in the window.you are not selling a veteran roller.
Nice one mate, just an input maybe when doing these kind of commercial vehicle review it´d be great if you test drive it loaded and dry, so we have an idea of these little trucks capabilities, seems like every reviewer out there do the same thing over and over, just an idea, keep it up
Approx. £6k for a standard non-turbo up to around £9k for a Custom Turbo. Higher than that if you want super low mileage, lower than that if you're happy to accept something rough.
@@Andrewsjapanesecars fantastic thankyou. I'm looking for the one with the glove box above the steering wheel. I think it's the latest model 2022. Also is there a way to put them in to miles not kmh? And the navigation screen?
The next generation on from this one has the glovebox as you describe. Here's one I have on the way: andrewsjapanesecars.com/vehicle/honda-nbox-custom-g-l-honda-sensing/ The speedo can be converted. Changing the navigation generally requires a new head unit.
It's fairly straightforward. Some parts are available over here and some need to be imported from Japan. They are very popular in Japan so everything is readily available. I can supply parts if needed andrewsjapanesecars.com/ask-me-a-question/japanese-import-car-parts/
I've got another one on the way from Japan at the moment, should be ready to go in early August andrewsjapanesecars.com/vehicle/daihatsu-tanto-custom-x/
@@Andrewsjapanesecars Very nice. I live in Australia though haha. To be honest im not completely sure if they let you import 2010s era kei cars here. They have plently of brand new n boxes and spacias i cant afford tho
Hi Andrew, I love your videos and it pushed me to import one to Jersey! Do you mind if I ask how to convert the reversing light to a fog light? Many thanks, Jamie
Thank you! Some do and some don't - it's a feature of the head unit rather than the car itself, so it depends on which head unit has been fitted. Most have bluetooth phone connectivity and the majority also have bluetooth audio. But this age of NBox generally doesn't come from Japan with Apple carplay or Android auto. It is of course possible to add it afterwards by changing the head unit.
Always like the N-Box, the last one that was a turbo and had cruise control would be the one I would go far, it's the top seller in Japan and is just so practical 👍
That must be frustrating, especially as you probably use more fuel with the 4WD too. I had a look at the specs for this model and I can see the 2WD has a 35 litre tank but the 4WD only has 30 litres.
An Acty wouldn't be my first choice if I was 6ft4. There are other kei trucks with more space. How about a Daihatsu Hijet jumbo or Suzuki Super Carry? Or if you need the full load bed size, a Mitsubishi Minicab.
Would love a kei truck or van 1 day .....got my work cut out on my Mazda Bongo at the moment......for those that don't know about value of these cars I have researched doing my self and for what Andrew charges is a very good price for not having the hassle of having to import yourself and registering then making it UK legal, transport insurance ect.......This man also takes the risk of importing as some cars have been know to get damaged now and then on shipping transportation. Very good price for a low millage Kei truck ..if i had the money I would have it now !!!
What a great comment to receive on a video! Thank you very much. I'm always looking out for nice kei trucks so hopefully will have something suitable when your Bongo is finished. If it's anything like the last Bongo I took in part exchange, you'll be getting plenty of welding practise!
Wow! What an amazing condition HA7! I wish you were here in the States and it was a 1999 model. We have to wait 25 years to be able to get one of these.
I guess you'll want me to email but can you give a rough price idea? Not looking to buy any time soon but may do in the future and I'd like to know if it's likely to be in budget
Hi, you're correct that I do prefer to discuss the prices via email. Please could you send a message via this link andrewsjapanesecars.com/vehicle/honda-n-box-g/ and I'll let you know my intended selling price for this car, along with the usual price range. Thanks, Andrew
great video my first car was a Diahatsu domino still miss the company it was a loss from the uk currently looking at a suzuki Lapin but not sure if it comes in a rurbo version or how to go about importing one cheers great video
Yes it's a real shame but glad to be able to share some of their Japanese offerings to the UK market. Regarding the Lapin, no they aren't available with a turbo, just the standard 52 hp NA engine. However I think this is plenty of power in such a light car. I offer an import to order service if you'd like me to import one for you, or if you'd like to do it yourself with some support from me along the way, I have a consultancy service. Here are the links: Consultancy: andrewsjapanesecars.com/japanese-import-advice/ Get in touch about importing to order: andrewsjapanesecars.com/japanese-import-cars-to-order/ Cheers Andrew
Hello there, I just came across your channel and loved your reviews of the N-Box and the Tanto. It's great to see that Kei cars getting more attention also in the UK. Thank you very much and keep up the good work.
Hi, this engine has a timing chain, not belt. I'm not aware of a UK supplier for the water pump but I can get one from Japan for you: andrewsjapanesecars.com/ask-me-a-question/japanese-import-car-parts/
If I'm not mistaken KEI are almost exclusively sold domestically in Japan... and yet your imported Japanese car features buttons, controls and dials that are clearly labelled in English. How does that work for your average Japanese grandmother driving this car? :)
I was thinking that i'd love one of these until you mentioned the 3 Satanic letters,CVT.I just couldn't put up with a car that permanently sounds like the clutch has had it.It's a shame. For the kind of mainly local and solo driving i do,one of these would have been perfect for the occasional shopping trips etc
Sorry I'm not sure, I tend to stick the the newer models of Acty. The HA7 model doesn't have much space in the cab, compared with something like a Hijet of a similar age.
I offer support with spares for all the cars I sell. Some parts are available here and some need to be imported from Japan. I could import a windscreen if required. The shipping would be expensive but everything is available.
I thought what a beautiful green it was, until I realised it was the grass reflected in the chrome. Anyway, it’s a wonderful car and I just wish they sold them here.
Hello, this one is now sold. The cost to import one will vary quite a lot according to your preferred mileage, trim level, age, condition etc. If you'd like to discuss prices further, please get in touch via this form andrewsjapanesecars.com/japanese-import-cars-to-order/ Thanks!
