Fabulous..!!..A lifetime's work to get HERE...and I've been playing since around 1960.myself...had to spend 46 years at the Electricity Company to pay the bills though..!!!!!
Back in 1991 I went to a small Pierre Bensusan concert in Hampstead, London. I loved him so much that that same week I took my new girlfriend to a grander concert at the London South Bank. We went up to him at the end to thank him, and my date gave him a lovely thankyou kiss on the cheek. We now have a stack of albums and CDs by him, and my date and I are together ever since, 33 years. And we live in France. A kiss to remember.
Words cannot possibly describe my admiration for Andy. Travelling the World and bringing his wonderfull music everywhere with him despite being born back in 1942, fingers still nimble and voice that can tell a story for sure.
I showed this to Duck Baker and he got a kick out of it. He says that this was the first duo tour he and Stefan ever did, and possibly the first concert of the tour. Can I put you in touch with him? If there is a better-quality source, he would love to hear it. Thanks very much.
