I mean their story is rather touching. He loves her regardless of how she is or what she became. He stays with her through all of it. Though given how sweet he is as a lover, Biscut deserves someone at least with a better attitude by now

She'd be part of my team helping me get information like if I'm rolling as a rogue, she tells me how many guards I gotta worry about, and I'll tell her that if things get bad, she's to haul ass out! If possible, bring me a means of escape, or use her magic to teleport me to safety like to a healer. I value my party! Doesn't matter! But I hate gnomes! Little degenerates... Always putting their dicks in my cogs and wheels! Little freaks always watching me from the dark corners when I meet a nice or loose lady at an inn... The worst is when I hear one moan as he's fapping as he watches me render a woman's legs numb with pleasure! Always kills the mood and I have to throw a throwing dagger, shuriken, or even my main weapon my magical enchanted sword made from a phoenix feather into his skull... Always a mood killer... Everyone this is from a sadly ended anime called Sword Art Online. In my opinion it’s good but after the first season it gets more and more less attracting. Kirito the mc or the one you see with black hair is stuck in an rpg and the person next to him is an ai. I’m not gonna spoil anything but go watch it.
