I think the Katys were a mistake you had enough arty to draw more supply then you had and the ZIS 3 battery probably suppresses better then the Katy.

I wouldn't do any better pronouncing hungarian or czech stuff than you probably, its just as much guesswork for most germans. That old gun truck actually is from WW 1 - or at least it was featured in Battlefield 1. Zrinyi should be an indigenous hungarian design.

I suggested an entrenchment idea a year or so ago and they said no. And essentially their reasoning was they didnt want to do any work. Literally

To some extent, there is already an "entrenchment" bonus. After an infantry unit's been immobile for a dozen seconds or so, it gets a defensive bonus until it moves

As someone from Czech Republic i can say for everyone, that speaking hungarian is very hard for us too. But for me specifically i don´t strugle too much with the pronunciation. When it comes to zrinyi, it was built on a Turán medium tank chassis.

It's not that bad for any Eastern/Northern European, but if you're from Southern Europe, the UK/Ireland or the US, yeah it's hard... Comes with bad language learning in those regions & countries

SD2 is best. I also have not found anything better. I wish they would release a map editor. 1. 24:50 Your artillery refusing to be towed by the supply truck lol 2. 20:43 Wilhelm crapped his pants so we all 'retreated' into the river so he could wash himself.

Yes, I have had it since release. It's a great game but really doesn't match SD2s multiplayer experience.

The ISU have better armour than the SU indeed, as they're using the IS chassis instead of the KV-1S They also have big AP rounds, which the SU-152 lacks

The SG-43 was a new model to replace the old Maxim, building up on a successful but bulky and unwieldy design. It was a good design as well, apparently considered quite reliable, with better range and about 10kg lighter than the Maxim. The Soviet industry was never able to produce enough to fulfill the demand, hence the continued use of the Maxim in large numbers.

Regarding T34/76 armour quality: IRL To increase the number of produced tanks factories used any available equipment. Including equipment for metal casting. Casting gives lower armour quality than rolling, so the thickness was proportionally increased to 53mm. That's the "1942 variant". The "1943 variant" had the turret made by stamping 45mm rolled plates. All variants of T34/76 and T34/85 share the same hull with 45mm plate angled by 60 degrees gives 90mm effective thickness. There were indeed issues with armour quality due to high sulfur quantity and rushed assembly but they were much more prevalent in 1942 when evacuated factories barely set up the production and were more concerned about producing anything at all. These issues were resolved in 1943 (don't remember the exact date, so maybe late 1943). In game all armour values are subject to Eugen's balancing and there don't seem to be any consistent rules. Even the effective armour thickness gets picked and choosed and tweaked a lot. For example, to up-armour Tiger from 100 to 125 they probably "included into calculations" almost horizontal piece above the transmission. And the armour quality doesn't matter at all, otherwise half of Panthers should be torn apart by a rock thrown in their general direction.

Disheartened does the same as in SD2, with an increase to the Cohesion damage suffered, except Suppression and Cohesion function differently. Units do not get suppressed / forced to flee like in SD2 when the bar fills up. They do lose accuracy and reload speed, as well as movement speed (this is a significant change). Sometimes units in WarNo will get Stunned or Routed, with Routed being tied to Cohesion damage, but being a fairly uncommon occurrence. Units will also rank up in experience levels when they inflict damage or kill other units. I don't know the exact math, but the XP gained is based off the difference in value. So KDA units rank up fast if they survive, since they're all dirt cheap. And it's not that hard for them to survive at 15 HP base. It's a bit like the 16th Luftwaffe, they're crap in a vacuum, but if they're supported by a solid leader network, they're actually good, and excellent considering their price.

If you’re having trouble setting up ambushes, just keep them at the back and move up when the enemy comes into sight, not sure I agree at all with your comment about recon/sight. Otherwise gg, enjoyed our game on airport recently. Also, mortars are moreso useful for smoke in warno, could have easily got in the t80 with green berets at4 with some smoke cover, sov tanks are virtually blind without recce

as a non player i can say those AA guns are shit. how 6 aa gun with numereous other machine gun pointing air can even down a single plane while enemy can take yours with only mounted machine guns on ıs2. a single minengroch shell from 38 can rip any small plane. i did used them in army. they can even paper lightly armored apcs. was sad to watch.

The power creep with these later Allied division is just ridiculous. Playing Axis was always a tad harder, but by now it's barely fun anymore. The anti-German bías and Allied self-aggrandizing in this game is blatantly obvious at this point.

Skill Issue if you are losing with Axis in 10v10. In 1v1 the allies do have an advantage usually though.

@whyme943 That they are, granted. They better, be, they're also bloody well expensive. Heavy armor is the main selling point of German forces, maybe along with their machine guns. But price-wise, I tend to think you get less bang for your buck than the Allied side, and you tend to see less "gimmicky" units. Then again, there was an update to the game just yesterday that brought numerous point discounts to German forces, so maybe this has been rectified to a degree.

The other thing I’d add is that sending planes in waves is effective because your AA will switch targets to an unsuppressed plane whenever possible. You can get better shoot downs by manually targeting the lead plane- though subsequent planes will be more accurate/ won’t be driven off.

Rushing with Hungarians isnt a very viable tactic at the start because they have some of the slowest standard trucks in the game. And even the Krupp trucks are slightly slower. Against American and Russian divs you will be out-rushed. It really puts the Hungarians at a disadvantage. Only the Italian division on the allied side has slower trucks I believe. Also the 105mm Goring howitzer is terrible. You're better just grabbing mortars in A phase and the Hungarian 150mm howitzers in B and C. Those things shoot 50% faster and are crazy good.

I agree that the Goring isn't the greatest but the mortars without radios are so inaccurate I thought it worth bringing - I might swap it out. It's a tad bit ironic that the M119 is insanely good at blowing up my equipment in WARNO.

Thanks for showing the rest of the map, I like that you do that. Makes even a grind somewhat entertaining! You responded well to it, putting light squads on the frontline, holding, and saving up for a tank/motorised push.

A unit that does not move that is inf or a gun should be able to dig in... improving over time if it is inactive. would be awesome...would reduce off map issues and arty big time
