I had one of these . Was pretty quick for a 3 cylinder turbo. Unfortunately I was in a severe accident over 100 mph hit embankment went Endo few times ending with several rolls. I barley survived. The car looked like a crushed beer can . Very weak thin construction. not recommended to race around in
I love the sound the 3 cylinder makes when you step on it. Did this one still have the stock exhaust? It's really quiet. My channel is devoted to these wonderful little turbos.
It wasn't the parking brake. It was the equalizer valve. Can't get one. Had to fix with gasket off metro, it only had three outlets, and a big radiator hose clamp.
I bought this car from Derek a year ago. Racking up 150+ miles a day, doing 70-75mph, getting 40mpg in Tulsa Oklahoma! Gotta replace the clutch in my red one. Got two parts cars.
Wow. Can't believe you're still on the road. 1650 lbs. with driver. The potential! Keep it. 6L per 100 kms. driving it like you stole it. Mine got written off in a T-banger. Loved that little gem! Less is more.
I have one i wish my dash looked that good mines all cracked i bought mine from some guy out of mojave desert so go figure, great lil car super fun,some parts are hard to find
I do miss mine. Boy was it a loud car. lol. I sold it in 2010 and it always was fun to drive. Had it since 93. Put some $ into it, but not too bad. Sold for double what I paid back in the day, so I cannot complain one single bit.
