That looks like fun! I had one in the early days "Last Year" and boy has the price come down and the quality has gone up. Thanks for the demo you make it look so easy. You have come a long way since you opened the doors in Petaluma😄
@falcondragonslayer just compared to what you can buy after market. For example the VXL is good and all but it's entry level compared to combo's on the market. And the radio and servo aren't great. If you had a slash roller and put in your own ESC and motor and servo and radio you can make the truck insane. Just need better drive shafts. Older traxxas radio gear also had some faulty units. It's better to build kits and use aftermarket stuff for most brands.
@@buysncharge How is the radio bad? I get it doesn’t have the screen and all the knobs of most transmitters, but you can get that functionality with the Link Module (though I wouldn’t buy a TQi transmitter and link module by themselves under most circumstances. There are much more affordable options. However, if the model comes with a TQi 2, 3, or 4-channel it’s just $35 to give it the extra functionality.) But I do agree the Traxxas servos are trash. The 2075 is a joke on my Hoss. The wheels wobble in grass, greatly reducing its ability to turn. Luckily, I had a much higher torque, metal-geared servo in my Stampede from when the 2065 in it stripped its gears, so I put that in it and the steering works great now As for the VXL Velineon system not being as good as what you can get after-market…isn’t that the point of the aftermarket stuff? To upgrade? Just because there is better stuff doesn’t mean the electronics are sub-par.
They only have working headlights, tail lights and side markers don’t work but I guess you can get them to work but only working headlights. Love my K5’s Appreciate you sharing I watch for more
I like the rear diffuser so keeping the stock body is a must for me👍 Magnet mount location is 👌 Never owned a Real Drift car..rear 2wd. Getting one for sure. Cool release by Redcat...
I walked into fundemonium when they opened their doors in petaluma "now there in Rohnert Park". My family and I watched Steve & Jean build fundemonium from a small toy & hobby shop to a important part of this community. It is now a diverse entertainment & learning center for the entire family "Yes learning at Fundemonium is FUN!" They have a wide range of hobbies, Games and activities for everyone. Their staff is top notch. Each is an expert in their field. From Hi Tech R.C plane's helicopters & cars to board games and slot cars you name it. Also they have kindly opened their doors to give gamers and model builders, ship builders a place to meet and discuss their hobbies in a comfortable and friendly environment. Fundemonium has a great blend of first rate products & service with that home town family friendly feeling. I've been a hobbyist for well over 50 years and for those that don't remember this is what a hobby shop used to be. Thank you Steve & Jean for all your hard work to improve our community! Other than being a customer I am in NO WAY associated with or receiving anything for this review. I believe in giving credit where credit is do. In today's world people are always ready to complain about a company, how about a little positive feed back. Fundemonium ROCKS, your one stop shop of family fun.👍😀
Thank you so much for the great review John! Every once in a while we don't perform to the high standards we set for ourselves. Even if we make things right for the customer we still feel bad. We recently had such a day. Then along comes a review like yours to lift us up and help us remember that all the hard work, and occasional stumbles, are worth it. Your kind words mean so much.
Been waiting for an unboxing on these as they just hit my local stores. It's a great deal and it's on a extremely well known and proven chassis. I own a 4wd senton with a decent 60 amp brushless system in it and it's plenty fast and alot of equipment and batteries for a car like this that I have just laying around. Might have to buy one and see if it's club racer ready
