When did this (allegedly) take place? I say allegedly because 1) this looks like 90s era Cure but Robert looks as fat then as he does today (2024), and 2) that bass player looks nothing like Simon Gallup. I think this video is fraudulent. 🤨
@lordpaul0420 Nope. You just don't know what you're talking about. Robert's hair is thinning now, and he's visibly older now. It's obviously Robert and Simon. This would have been around the release year of Bloodflowers, I think, which was Feb 2000. If not, possibly around Wild Mood Swings, spring 1996.
I wonder why they only did this song once. It would be nice if they added it to a special set or something. Last summer was great for the Cure and I'm hoping they come back so I can see them again.
@@guitarista67 I still feel that when they play songs like, Faith, it's still special. Certain songs will always be special, no matter how many times they play them.
The Cure, No Doubt and Swedish band, Millencolin. Wonder when this was. Saw No Doubt several times while at univeristy. Just finally saw The Cure this year. Never got a chance to see Joy Division before Ian died.
This was in 2000-2001 after the Bloodflowers album was released if my memory serves me well. This song was rehearsed for a special performance for Australian radio Triple J
