look how bad and overacting it looks like with the mom of 'jameel' in this, terrible acting. only in the scenes with WM there does it come off as real. this is the case with every single scene and every other actor. they look so fake and bad but WM makes it work if he is in the same room as them, and they no longer seem so fake.
WM is the only one who saved this film. without this one person nothing about this film is sympathetic/likeable. thanks to him the story works at least somewhat. poor acting by everyone else and script had potential to be terrible. only this one actor made the scenes and dialogue work for everyone else, in every scene he did with them at least, by the way he responded. for example Moh'd Ali is unwatchable and unbearable in every scene here, and the dialogue doesn't help-- every scene sucks except for the scenes with WM --those seem real and they play off perfectly. same with Mumtaz, Zeba, the random side characters.. everyone is unwatchable/unbearable/looks fake, rehearsed and not spontaneous (bad directing, bad acting and predictable dialogue) but when he is there he plays off them so so well that they make it work somehow and he makes himself and everyone else look more sincere and more entertaining too. though she is graceful and speaks well, zeba's acting is so overwrought, and comes off so boring and rehearsed here especially.
