This was the only time it happened, but I ended up flipping the handguard mounting hardware, the Braketec design with their banjo bolt is a stupid design compared to Brembo.
@@luckyenduro Hi ya I liked the EX300 for hare scrambles, great bike, the new EC300 I am happy with, suspension is plush so at speed its a bit loose but for slow more technical it's great!. See you at Williams Lake?
I bought an adapter ($20) that clips onto the TPS sensor, it then lets you plug in a volt meter and read it, if you search "KTM TPS voltage adjust" you should find videos. Mine was .450 volts, which is aways out towards the rich side you want to be at .400 volts but there is a process you have to follow.
Hey Man, I've notice I've got that same oil leak, also got my bike from International. What did you do to fix the leak? I also had the same starting issue with my bike, I had to adjust the idle up just a little bit and fixed that right up. Edit: Helps when you watch the whole video.. I figured that's where the oil was leaking from.... I should look into checking the TPS Voltage on my bike
@@Poco_Dirt_Muppet Not to bad man, if you bought from International we must be fairly close. I cut off the old one without taking anything apart, then snuck in a new hose clamp and tightened it up.
Yah dude sounds like a PDI issue unfortunately :( - Mine came perfectly set from the dealer I bought from but its true these TBI bikes do indeed need some proper PDI to ensure they are set up and if some dealers are not double checking then that is unfortunate. Glad you have things sorted now.
@@SingleTrackTherapy Mine will start once warmed up without giving it any throttle imput but it seems to start better if I blip the throttle while pressing the starter button at the same time.
Really a pretty damn good ride. ( for a red one, I ride a white one 😅) The throttle problem is why I went back to flag type. The rap around always caused trouble.
@@SingleTrackTherapy Fun to watch these vids on the races, thanks for posting. Great riding. Russ the Silver Kings was some kind of nasty. You will have to try to get Matt and crew to enter next year.
You had a killer second lap! Impressive pace for those conditions. Out of all the races this year, this one has the most riders off their bike both on and off the course.
@@SingleTrackTherapy I think it was on the last hill climb that I passed, I took the main line. I was so surprised to see that I had passed you and Matt on lap 1 because I never saw you guys.
@SingleTrackTherapy that's plan. It's been a learning curve so far. First race season. 3 of the 4 races so far I've never ridden those areas. I've got pace, just need to figure out the race craft. I was loving the slippery areas without the rock.
@@John-od7xw Not sure I'll be there, I hope to, have to see how my thumb feels. You learn something every race man, I still got lots to learn, old dogs new tricks. Those slick sections freaked me out, had to keep yelling at myself to go faster.
That was a very impressive ride. To see how much time I gained doing that hill when you guys had to deal with that "Easy out" but then be caught by that point in the second lap. I had some close calls early in my second lap and I think it just took 5-10% off my general pace. Well done.
Your starts are amazing dude. Oh man I love seeing these perspectives where a guy is pulled over for you then see where i bump into that guy etc. Well done.
Nice work Craig. After watching "Old Matthew's" video I realized that you are way to nice in you passing. Get an small canister airhorn on your bars and blast your way through. If you didn't get hung up on a couple of bottleneck, it would have been real interested to watch both you and Matt battling it out head to head with your smooth riding style against Matt's I'm just going to smash through this. Young Matthew, haven't seen your video yet, got to check that out as well. Great riding folks. I will be off the bike until the fall, so I have to enjoy the riding through your vids, so keep them coming.
I must have watched that holeshot 10 times already 🤩. Great smooth riding. Awesome to watch you reel them all in after that bottle neck. And to get second place on a flat tire 🤯
Oh man that was fun to watch and pick out stuff I recognized trying to get a sense of where I was at the time. Gratz on your podium wish I could have stuck around and supported that moment. See you at the next one.
@@SingleTrackTherapy Just posted now. Had a decent start and made some passes, but that middle rock section beat me up good. I feel like my cardio needs a lot of work.
Was good fun. Rode with Fred up Stave Lake area, then headed to the island. Rode to Port Renfrew, then up to Lake Cowichan. A little more pavement than I would have liked. Next time, I will try a different route up to Cowichan or possibly up to Nitnat.
