Stoked you included the TWR Jaguars. in particular No.10 - the 1985 Bathurst winner. They screamed arount Mount Panorama. Tom Walkinshaw was a visionary.
I think that's because they're a specialist racing engine designed in the 50s for either the D type or F type racer resurrected in the early 70s put in XJ & E type along with the Daimler to add more prestige to the marque very complicated engine you have to know what your doing a lot of mechanics won't touch them
1. F-Type did not exist before 2014 2. The V12 is from the XJR-5 race car, but the original version of the motor comes from the late E-Type production cars (1971-1974)
I love how his v6 sounds like an inline 6. The sound is always one thing I’ve ragged on most v6 engines for. The 350z/g35 and the 370z/g37 sound like trumpets
Equal length everything. Y pipe single exit. Dual 2.5s into single 3.5, dual 2 into single 3, or dual 3 into single 4 to have roughly no restrictions. Or otherwise look up the mk5 cortina estate exhaust calculator, or the exhaust diameter to CFM calculator and remember that 2.2cfm per HP is what's needed for 0 restriction.
You and Doug Demuro are quite literally the whole reason I have my xjs. You, Tom Walkinshaw, and Julian Griggs, are huge inspirations for my own build. Thank you for sharing what you do, keep up the good work!
That JRA Walkinsaw XJS!!!! there's something about the sound that just jingles the nerve endings in your spine. Its unreal. Just the best sounding engine ever
very simple good ole boy 2 valve per cylinder overhead cam V8...none of that high revving multi cam multi valve screaming Italian BS....you'd break your wallet before you broke one of these motors and have your wife AND daughter in the parlour just to fill up...but who cares
At 4:11 you can see what I mean when I say: The dumbest assholes drive often sadly the best cars. _"Turn signals...? Sorry, but I´ve so much horsepower - there´s _*_no_*_ space for _*_brain_*_ left over."_
