Can we really offer someone a cup of tea at the hospital? I mean I would love to offer something to a distressed attendant, especially a sweet old grandma but can we ?
I have subscribed to clinical skill pro and it was recommended to me by my senior who passed his PLAB 2 in his first attempt, I must say it’s very helpful especially the counselling stations 👌
We are so pleased you are finding the course useful and we hope you pass your exam. If you'd be willing to spend a couple of minutes to give us a Trustpilot review, we'd be grateful: uk.trustpilot.com/review/clinicalskillspro.com

Hello! The exact posture that you have is not a major consideration in MRCP PACES. Optimal is to examine at the same level as the patient, but this is not always easy for us to film in the studio to a high standard.
As it's an inferior MI most likely in the RCA, why don't you consider sublingual NTG as contraindicated and not only " not the initial management"? TIA
In cases of right ventricular involvement in Inferior wall MI, sublingual nitroglycerin administration will increase myocardial oxygen demand and worsen the condition of the patient!
This station's educaitonal value is to give you all the possible permuations of the scenario you may get. You will not be required to go into this level of complexity or depth in the exam, but it allows you to learn all of the different areas you could be asked
Hi, please help. I made a subscription of 3 months for your PLAB 2 course and on attempting to access my account and login, it keeps saying that my username or password is invalid. I tried to reset my password by Email but nothing was sent. I also tried to contact you on email; however, no one responded. Your help will be much appreciated.
Dear Dr Ismail, Sorry to hear about these difficulties. Please email us at info@clinicalskillspro.com with your username and registered email address and I'll be sure to resolve this for you ASAP. Best, Ed
@@HayaMerkabaoui Hello - I have emailed new login instructions to your outlook.com email address registered with our site. Have you received this? If not, please email info@clinicalskillspro.com
It is clinically significant byassociation with various malignancies, including gastrointestinal, pulmonary adenocarcinoma, prostate cancer, lymphoma, among others, not just gastric
It would have been more helpful if you provided the prompt and door text as well. Trying to put myself in the examinee's position I don't know what I know and what I am meant to communicate.
This is an angry relative!? Compared to what I have seen this felt like a pretty easy relative to talk to :D Great step by step guide! Very good to learn interpersonal skills and communication methods. Love your channel! Please keep uploading more such scenarios :)
It's neither right nor wrong, and is a commonly used phrase for doctors to use. Some people don't like using it, others do, but it's not a failing phrase.
very nicely explained the details of antibiotics and the new infection ... but one question ,are we allowed to interrupt the patient so frequently before he finishes his part, especially i noticed that in first half of conversation ??
As a ground rule, never interrupt the patient/relative. But since the scenario is intended to fit in 8-10mins the doctor might do that to cover important points first.
Yes we do, visit www.clinicalskillspro.com where you can sign up for our newsletter and free trial for more videos and questions. We have the full curriculum course for PLAB-2 with videos and questions covering all aspects of the exam. Good luck
This is an explanation station, and the information is given in the text introducing the station. You are not required to take a history as this is an explanation/communication station.
Signposting is when you indicate to a patient you are going to move to a different or difficult subject. For example, "I am now going to ask you a bit about your past medical history" or "I have some personal questions to ask" and so on
We deliberately showed here all the possible questions and issues you might get in this station. You wouldn't be expected to deal with all these questions in a single station. It is designed to help your learning to show all the different connotations.
