I'm glad I ended up not buying tickets. This is going to sound so mean and antagonistic but it's just how I feel: I don't mind a casual sing along at a concert, but I don't think there's a single live recording of Sleep Token the last 2 years where the audience isn't singing every. single. song. verse. by. verse. Like I'm paying to see Sleep Token not to listen to a crowd for an hour lmao. That would just drive me BONKERS.
Thanks for uploading. I was there but the heat exhaustion got me so bad that I had to give up my spot in the crowd and get help from the EMT before Sleep Token even came on. When I cooled off and came back I had to stand at the back and my view was obscured about 60% of the time. Still 100% worth it though.
You must have been the one before they came on everyone was pointing at and getting you through the crowd? I assumed they were pointing out some asshole trying to fight
@@DarkstarDZN No, that was another girl. I got separated from my brother and he told me later he saw her. He said she looked like she was having seizures so I hope she's okay. There was actually a third girl I saw go down too but she rested on the floor a bit then got back up. There were probably more people who passed out or got close to it. That level of heat indoors in May was unexpected, even in Georgia!
Wow sorry to hear that. Here in Montreal they upped the ac before the opener I was wearing and was cold. Good call though cause when I filled up it was definitely hotter but we were ok
That mic sucks picking up his vocals :( when he gets close to instruments and pulls away the mic any kinda distance he does when he belts it picks up those and just like doesn’t even capture his singing and makes me hella sad. He’s the kinda dude who needs to be in his element and vibe while he sings and it shoulda been a mic suited for him.
Yeah that sucks. Especially since he’s only going for 50% of the belts/ higher register parts these days. In the past, he was able to hit those parts with any equipment. Getting old sucks
Saw him a few weeks ago in Richmond, same issue, his sound guy really sucks, his voice is definitely not as good as it used to be but the mix makes it hard to hear when he actually hits the notes
Johnny Craig was great. Meanwhile: That guitarist with the Justin Bieber singlet was cringe asf. Holy shit. I get he likes this sort of music, but man, you don't wear that on stage. Super duper yikes.
I am a big fan of JC but hes nowhere near untouchable here lol. He really fucked himself by creating an entire album of him just belting. Not to mention he is off pitch like 30 percent of the song. And he doesnt have the breath control to sing like another third of the song. Hes falling back on his vocal fry way too much and it keeps his mixed voice with an awkward amount of chest voice in it, so he cannot ascend and hit what were his money notes before. I dont know why he isnt performing the self-titled EP songs, they are much less rough to perform live. Im happy hes back but hes only messing up his voice singing these songs for multiple nights in a row.
@@x-xPhobia yes, you make alot of valid points. But even with all that, as a live performance. Still incredible and most other artists wish they could touch that level of talent
@@x-xPhobia He has always been leagues ahead of all his peers, but it is kind of a bummer to see him struggle on this tour. And this is actually one of the better vids I've seen. There are some that are REALLY bad.
Just saw them in Austin last weekend, and he put on a hell of a show! Never thought I’d be able to see him live so I jumped at the chance. He did not disappoint!
