I do like the "happy mistake" size and it is good to know we can adjust the size by adjusting the printing scale. I ordered my pattern and templates today! Looking forward to sewing again.
This pattern looks amazing. I love all the bags shown in this video. The florals go really well with this design. Thank you for showing all of them. Great job!
I just wanted to let you know what a great job you did on your introduction video. I love your new pattern design. You have come a long way since those first days when I did pattern testing for you. I am in awe on how quickly you have grown your business. Aren't you so glad you took that leap of faith and left your day job to start a new business. I love to see women succeeding!
Oh I just LOVE this design, Melissa!! Your talent amazes me; thank you for all your fantastic patterns. I'm buying this right now and will start on it today! Woohoo!! 🎉🥳
As a retired small business owner, I would like to say how impressed I am with the way you are growing your business. Well done. Love this new pattern!
This is so beautiful! I’ve been eyeing this pattern for a while but I don’t CC. Thanks for coming up with alternative ideas for that fantastic pocket 😊
I made this over a year ago and it turned out great. This weekend I sublimated a panel with “Lay down your burdens” song on it. Well I have to lay this bag down for a while. I messed up on the cc pocket and ripped and recut some pieces. Well now when I was thinking I could finally put in the gusset and zip panels I realize the back is way smaller than the front. I’m going to sleep on it and maybe come back to it in a week or so. See if I can salvage anything.
@@krystaljoe6270 I don’t see why not. But if it’s got some weight to it, and doesn’t have one way stretch it really wouldn’t be necessary. I would recommend trying a tesl piece to see which you prefer.
I'm in love with this. I'm in the process of starting to do 50, yes 50 for my upcoming craft show!!!!!!!!!! You are an amazing designer and instructor, thank you sew much!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
thanks so much for making this video, it is very helpful since I'm a beginner to the sewing/bag making hobby ❤ and your bags are simply a dream, soooo beautiful
I know this video is from a year ago but this is my 3rd time watching it and I find it so helpful. And as luck should have it, right after watching it, I took a chance and went on FB Marketplace and couldn’t believe my eyes… someone 15 minutes away from me was selling their Singer Heat Press for $40! The exact same one in your video! So I jumped on it and now own my own heat press! I can’t wait to start using it for my bag making! Thanks!!
Although I could buy many Chanel or Hermès every month, the clothes and bags I buy are much cheaper and they are all from *amzclothes* . I don't want to worry about expensive items being stolen or damaged. I'd better leave the money I save to my parents, Or donate to charity.
Such a great tutorial! I love the way you produced/edited your tutorial and show what you're doing. I'm a new subscriber :) You're very easy to listen to! I'll check out your website!
Thank you Melissa. I’m so glad you mentioned the fold over elastic trick. I bought some too and didn’t like it, but now I’ll take your advice and try it again. If it works out, I’ll be a happy camper. Keep creating…love your patterns.
I tried FOE on 4-6 bags and grabbed my seam ripper after out after about 50 stitches in. Each time I swore I wouldn't use FOE again. Then once I was told I needed to stretch it I never had issues since then.
Another lovely pattern..gorgeous fabrics. I do miss seeing the sewing though. I appreciate it’s probably easier not to film it but sometimes seeing the bag actually being sewn is very helpful, especially for newbies to bag making. I’m in UK, I really wish postage wasn’t so expensive 😭😭 your hardware’s and fabrics are amazing.
