Jennifer Hale absolutely stole the show here. Absolutely brilliant voice acting. Such an epic performance. Naomi Hunter was truly a fantastic character. This still makes me tear up even 16 years later!

When u was a teenager playing this game I always loved the action and stealth. As an adult otacon line of "Why does it always end this way?" Really stuck with me.

Unintentionally funny and awkward lol. They really shoved in this unnecessary character everywhere and we are somehow supposed to care or believe Otacon would care after a one-night-stand. Naomi is Kojima at his worst truly.
You didn't loved anyone to say that, as a friend of love, yes we maybe don't care naomi's death but what's sad is otacon's sadness of losing everyone he loves between the games, he lost his dad (because of him), sniper wolf, emma his sister, and now naomi, and with enclosure in the background of the scene made a fabulous scene. You don't deserve to love mgs if you can't understand scenes like that without telling it's bad, when it's a truely masterpiece

I don't think those last words were BB talking about cigars. I think he was happy to have a father son moment with solid. BB hated the fact he was cloned to be a propaganda machine to bring in more soilders who will be discarded like him. I don't think he hated solid per say just why he was created. You can the look in his eye when he realizes the cigar is in his mouth. That look to me was him being content and for the first time even in the last 30 seconds of his life he finally felt like he had a child. That was good wasn't it?

What a phenomenal series my favorite games of all time I love how in a way big boss watched himself die solid being his clone and telling him not to make the same mistakes he did all those years like when he watch “himself” die with venom to stay low profile I’m probably just reaching but that’s why this series is so amazing there’s so much depth to it
Poor Otacon, everyone he falls in love with has to die. Wolf because she was on the wrong side of that sick conflict that Liquid helped orchestrate. And Naomi, who was only kept alive by those freaking nano machines, cheating death just like Vamp did. He’s a good foster father to Sunny and he’s got his oldest friend (literally and figuratively) Snake to help him through it and to remind him he’s not alone. Especially since Snake was aging too fast and couldn’t afford to fall in love with anyone since he’s on borrowed time because of the Foxdie so he had to let Meryl go and be with someone else. The life of a wartime soldier sucks
