BTW really nice kick drum and track, I would like to hear the whole thing. Also, just for anyone reading, this is actually a good standard EQ. You don't HAVE to use it in split mode. It has a good selection of filters and has all the parameters on permanent display like an analog console. :)
One thing that IS a real PITA with this is there's no overall master output auto volume, and never have I wanted to hear "just what the EQ is doing" without having to adjust output gain continuously manually, more than I have wanted to with this EQ. It is screaming for master autogain, however it's still so good that it's hard to overlook. There is of course Ian Shepherd perception, but that is a stupid price, you can buy TB Pro Audio ABLM for 1/3 of the price, or Hornet CLMS, which is 1/13th the price! Imagine buying two plugins that do exactly what the $150 plugin do, and still having change left over. Ian Shepherd has lost the plot with a price for a simple gain matching plugin. It's ludicrous, but here I have hopefully alerted those reading to a cheap alternative to use with split Eq, if you want that feature.
I've now tried all the plugins that attempt to do this, and overall this is the best. I finally got it for $82 at the recent sale from everyplugin and it's worth every cent.
I met Benga, Skream & Artwork (Magnetic Man) at Custard Factory in Birmingham in ‘08. I looked and they and were just stood with drinks in their hands talking, by the looks of it nobody had noticed them. I approached them and they were all friendly and happy to chat to me. They hadn’t been on yet and Benga told me there was gona be new music, he debuted 26 Baselines and E Trips that night. Great memories man
The dude is considered of the best dubstep producers of all time. The only reason he is somebody on the music scene is because of his dubstep legacy and he doesn't even mention one dubstep track as his top3. What a tool. IF he had produced one of those three tracks and not released his album Skream! nobody would fkn know or care who this bloke was. What a fkn tool. Doesnt respect his roots at all.
Great to here and 100% lots of ideas can we reused elsewhere. Good luck! P.S when we fix something on the site you can download the sounds and presets too.
Total shake down for original H3000 users. 99 usd for what? In fairness they should have updated the GUI years ago and now the want to gouge existing customers for this. Sorry but I would rather give the money to Valhalla every day of the week and buy plugins I'll actually use. Rip off alert in my view. YMMV.
I thought the first versions were extremely disappointing emulations. I hope these are a little better. I’d probably pay $500 for a full true emulation with all features and patches.
I can't help but want to EQ that bass in the first mix to pull a couple of frequencies out of it that are a little too forward for my tastes. Great plugin though and I can see why that vocal thickening present has seen such widespread use.
Great demonstration. Eargasm. I own Anthology bundle and received this update free of charge. Night and day difference in sound quality between MK1 and MK2.
