the stormcloak test is something that bean done Since leaving Atmora, it a test to prove your a Nord at heart and in valour. {The northern and western Holds -- Winterhold, Eastmarch, the Rift, and the Pale, known collectively as the Old Holds -- remain more isolated, by geography and choice, and the Nords there still hold true to the old ways. Outsiders are a rarity, usually a once-yearly visit from an itinerant peddler. The young men go out for weeks into the high peaks in the dead of winter, hunting the ice wraiths that give them claim to full status as citizens (a laudable practice that could serve as a model for the more "civilized" regions of the Empire} Pocket guide to the Empire first edition. they mention that quest even before the game was launched so i Don't see why people are complaining about it, in reality both factions sent you out to die.
Yes, I knew that the Imperials are only on the "beginner" difficulty and can score bandits. At a time when the sons and daughters of Skyrim are slaughtering giants on the "Legendary" difficulty 💀💀💀
I will say it’s annoying they don’t have armor reward for storm cloaks. Storm cloaks are the way to go, with the empire not even so much as hesitant to put *Maven Black-Briar in a position of power* Religious freedom is important and the Dragonborn canonically believes in Talos. The Empire is portrayed on a leash so tight Tulius wasn’t allowed to go to the season unending negotiation quest without having a Thalmor representative. A more than frustrating portion of the story is Bulgruf, despite consistently complaining about imperial control, for some reason siding with the empire.
This is for the poeple joining the Imperials. The Empire literally wanted to kill you in the beginning just because oh well who gives a fuck about you right? And they would've if Alduin didn't show up. Now tell me. Why the fuck, would you want to join someone who wanted to execute you even though you did nothing wrong????? Some poeple ey 😂
Even though nobody gonna read this. Conclusive evidence the empire is the correct side. The thalmor forced the white gold concordat, the banning of the warship of talos right? My theory is stormcloaks are unknowingly a puppet of the thalmor. Think about it, the outlaw of war shipping talos only effects the nords, the thalmor are using the stormcloaks as a tool to weaken the empire, and they have no fucking clue about it.
@@luissera483 if he wins, they lose because they have a hostile group ruling Skyrim. They can no longer search for the founding stone of the Tower. Requires deeper lore knowledge, if you don’t understand what I am talking about check out the lore about the towers of creation. Long story short at the moment only the Throat of the World and Ada-Mantia prevent the end of the world at the hands of the Thalmor.
Your empire is dead. Its the other way around. Its imperials reminiscing about when they were great and glorious unlike its current state. SKYRIM BELONGS TO THE NORDS!
I always chose Stormcloaks. The game literally starts with the empire trying to kill you for no real reason but to avoid paper work. Then, everything Ulfric says he wants to acheive is noble and honorable and he DID technically follow nordic customs. That empire dude wears a skirt and scoffed at honor. He was more than willing to force hands and use trickery. Even with the downsides of Ulfric, like the racism, I didn't think it was quite black and white as the stormcloaks did have some non nordic warriors as well, and the dark elves didn't want to get involved. The empire sold everyone out to the aldmeri dominion, so why rely on them any longer? Fact is, I don't understand why as the dragonborn, I couldn't just take the dominion out myself. Should be a cakewalk. Could've avoided the war altogether and told the empire to take a hike. Then, shut Ulfric up over his infighting and racism. Now y'all answer to me.
This guy fights alongside orcs! Terrible! Have you seen what the Thalmor are doing to our country? And General Tulius fights the true patriots. Many such cases!
Aside from that it’s astounding anyone would join the empire after they tried to cut your head off for being in the wrong place at the wrong time, you know you’re just serving the interests of the Thalmor, yeah?
Man, i dont want to be the aldmer's bitch, its literally like supporting Hitler while saying "if we continue give him more power maybe someday somehow we will be able to overthrow him" wtf
Legate Rikke's assignment lowkey implies all new Imperial soldiers (at least in Skyrim) have the strength and skill to slaughter a fort full of bandits by themselves (follows are allowed I guess).
It is old Nord tradition a coming to manhood that a nord goes into the wildness and kills an ice wraith and becomes a man. Joining the stormcloaks they stay true to their peoples traditions. I can honor that.
