I thought if that podcast when you were describing you're beautiful ancestors and their trials on the planes. I was baptized a Mormon at 8 years old( im 61)...its a long story of my own, im simply just a good person now..im agnostic. I met your father, Big Al, and family at a Baker battery reunion in the 1970s in Lexington Kentucky. I was impressed with him and definitely all the men adored him. My father, Bill Warner, was a corporal in the unit. All the stories your father told brought back memories. My father was with the Captain while they were foolishly watching someone, with no experience try to take apart a mine. The Captain suddenly thought of something he wanted my father to take care of and ordered him away. My father got about 70 feet before he felt a horrific explosion behind him. My father always said that the Captains order to him probably saved his life. God bless all of you and yours
