you cant even build proper road in Jakarta !!!! , proper MRT Lines , proper train lines proper road separator marking , convex vibration lines, Botts' dots, delineators, cat's eyes, road studs, or road turtles and signage , not to mention blinding eyes of blitz camera taking picture god knows what ( seriously alot of the blitz light bulb need to be replaced , its a perishable item that prone for corruption ! ) how about ERP tech that other country already used decades !!!!!???? why cant we use it instead of tool gate !! sick and tired creating long lines just to pay , it so not sensible , can we all wake up and do it already ???!!!!! , also Propper pedestrian , and bridges . traffic light and proper road side light !!! its so damn dark ! ( stop planting shrubs and flowers , thoose wont do shit absorbing co2 , and its blocking line of sight , for drivers and pedestrian ) , what's the use of building fancy city just for gov officials , the hotels, the ugly palace , the residential district . its not even for Us , the commoners , the mortals , the one who pays tax, the one whos working from 6 am to 11pm , 7 days a week , just to save up and buy a property ! let alone eat ! we need Infrastructure led development ( Infrastructure-led urban development refers to the process of transforming and expanding a city's physical structures, such as transportation systems, utilities, and public facilities, to drive economic growth and improve the quality of life for its residents ) OMG that money you have invested how long will it actually making money ? another 50 decades ? or 100 years more ? were not private equity that can burn money every single day . please streamline the bureaucracy , centralize the housing and infrastructure & connectivity in jakarta and other part of major cities ! OH god why am i writing this comment ? another 50 years ill be dead anyway and i wont see any of it ! back to wake up at 5 am , commute for 2 hours + work for 8-12 hours , eat , commute another 1hr at least & pay and pay ! sleep and repeat and die ! do you know how much is the plot of land for cemetery ? i think its best to cremate my self safe the land for future generation use ! and when i see the road connecting the new capital city build look like it looks like so small !!! what about the river ? the sea ports ! the trains ! is it just me or is it just skin deep ! i hope it will last and will not be just jakarta 2.0 !
I think this is common when a nation wanted to move it's capital, even us in Malaysia, our real main capital supposedly to be located in Klang, as with any other civilization, a city near to sea shores = easier to do commerce/business, the same as Jakarta, but then Malaysia gain independence, and moved the capital to Kuala Lumpur since a lot of ex-colony government offices were located here, but then, due to KL surge of business importance, Mahathir decided to build an administrative capital located few kilometres from the capital, can you imagine the resources it took to do all these, it will definitely be not without its shortcomings
