I love especially the young Kocsis! Im no expert but to me he became more intellectual in his aproch and I much prefer his fiery, cheeky youth. For instance the early hungaroton bartok concertos. Also very suitable for Mozart in my opinion. Thanks for posting. Reminds me how much joy these recordings gave me in my youth
Despite the fact that everything here is controlled by a genius brain, every note is completely spontaneous and at the same time "comes from the heart". It's not just absolutely perfect, it's perfectly absolute.
Those photographs are absolutely amazing! Thanks for posting this equally extraordinary recital. Like listening to this literature for the first time...
I ADORE this music. It touches the soul. LOVE to all my brothers and sisters in Iran and EVERYWHERE. LOVE IS LOVE IS LOVE IS Let us unite, love each other and not let politicians determine who we ARE. 🙏❤️🌏❤️🌏❤️🌏❤️🌏❤️🌏❤️
@@jeffsmith1798 -- Thanks.....I had no idea: "...studied composition with Jules Massenet...Between 1897 and 1903, he studied composition with Charles-Marie Widor.... In 1901, while performing his military service, Dupont competed for the Prix de Rome. He won second prize, behind André Caplet but ahead of Maurice Ravel....." !!! Regards from Mexico City!
@@jeffsmith1798 I suspect that his long illness and short life contributed to his lack of popular familiarity. I never heard of him before his pieces started being featured on this channel.
