@@FionaFlyte You should be happy about it. I've never seen a vocal teacher so engaged with students and really wanting us to succeed. I'm trying my best not to get nodules on my vocal cords--but singing diaphragmatically is still a challenge for me. Thanks, Stefanie
I have done this type of advertising a decade ago during my Masters phase. It was not an issue to get the students. I left flyers at my uni and that was all.
Curious are you just getting started or do you have an established music studio? Also, here's the checklist! docs.google.com/document/d/1UNI5BHNaF2tNzrqu-odJI9J1H8VaRcVeuPgYGzvSbXE/edit?usp=share_link

There are two ways to go and they work well together. One is to build a strong social media presence. It doesn’t have to be big. It just needs to represent your “brand” like a virtual calling card. The second is old school cold calling and networking at local venues. And then networking with the contacts you make both at the venues and other artists who play those venues. Check my longer videos. There’s a whole playlist on marketing. And if you’d like more help, message me on FB or IG. I have both a free group and paid programs that could help you.❤️
It is your story, but that does not mean it will work for everyone else. As a matter of fact, statistically speaking, it's practically impossible for a woman (unless she has a lot of help) to be successful in her career and have kids. It is very expensive as well. So, do not encourage people to follow your exact path. You can break people's lives like that. Not every woman is happy at home with kids. Some women are born to serve their societies and so good deeds. Having kids will take that from them. .
This is the first time I see you on shorts feed, even though this video has been uploaded quite some time ago! 😮 Surprised by longevity on RU-vid content!!!
This resonants so much with me. Same happened to me with the Met National Council Auditions. I didn't think I was good enough so I waited and then I was too old. I feel like I am a recovering perfectionist which causes me to wait to do things. I am learning to do it where I am at instead of waiting.
Ahhhh Renee, I feel your pain on ALL of it. Sending so much love your way. On the other side of the perfectionism is a fountain of confidence and self esteem. You deserve to feel so outrageously good about yourself and everything you've ALREADY accomplished. I'm rooting for you!
Really!!! I didn't know that! My teacher played golf so that's the one I knew of first. I was sooooo glad there was one about tennis, as I'd NEVER (and STILL have never) played golf!
Most people's problem is not limiting beliefs but rather lack of work ethic and lack of understanding that they have to develop a plan of action.. You can totally eliminate your limiting beliefs but if you like work ethic and a plan to execute the limiting beliefs issue is nothing
In my experience the limiting beliefs are often blocking the action from taking place. Someone will procrastinate and collapse in front of the TV because they're trying to ignore their deeper feelings of unworthiness. While if they confronted their imposter syndrome and did the inner work, they'd discover the energy to actually take the action. Now it's also true that action itself increases confidence. So once you start taking action, more action will follow. But for some people the action isn't possible until they deal with whatever mindset issues are in preventing them from taking action in the first place. What do you think?
