If your car has only one screen, the camera will work on both the original system and the new system. If your car is two screens, the camera will only work on the original system

Have you had any issues when you start your engine? Whenever my car starts and it’s running, the screen flickers. But when the key is not fully in the ignition, just rotated to turn on screen functions, it works perfect. Anybody had something like this?
I assume that since the OEM screen is never replaced, this would mean no touchscreen functionality and that CarPlay can only be used via the main radio knob + Select button. If that assumption is accurate, have you experienced any limits in functionality when using certain CarPlay apps? This is the one concern that has kept me from pulling the trigger so far.
Hey everyone, I ACTUALLY purchased and VERIFIED, and installed this and can honestly say it works and works well. It was super easy to do as well and I actually videoed myself installing the motherboard and will be posting to RU-vid soon. I'm glad someone finally was able to come out with an affordable upgrade to add Apple Carplay to the under utilized upper screen on the Accords and keep the stock look. This is how Honda should have done it from the start with these radios. I definitely didn't want the dual screen set-up like the way they did it from factory to add Carplay which still under utilizes the upper screen. If anyone has any questions on the install let me know.
The instruction come with it. You'll need to remove the radio and remove the front face. The mother board is bolted behind that. If you have any mechanical ability or just ever removed a car radio before, it's very easy.
@@KC-qv6yt Have you had any issues at all or is it really as simple as it looks in the video because I really do want to get this for my 2016 Honda Accord LX
@@RKS-XV I installed it myself (plenty of videos on how to remove the radio online. Once the radio is out, it's as easy as the video shows. This was definitely worth the money in my opinion. I drive for at least 2 hours a day, over 100 miles a day and wanted my GPS on the top screen and didn't want to install an aftermarket radio. I got my wish and kept the stock radio look with all the features of CarPlay, it's also wireless. The radio board also came with all the tools to remove the radio from the car and to install the board along with all the factory connector adapters. It doesn't cost any more than an aftermarket radio with CarPlay so for me it was well worth it.
