We went from Priests risking torture & death for administering the Eucharist in antiquity and in communist countries under anti-Catholic persecution… to taking away the sacrament over a flu 🤦🏻♂️ faith has grown weak

A priest who loves Jesus would not allow any lay people to distribute communion. No Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion should be allowed any more. Their hands are not consecrated. This is horrendous how they're doing this. Hand sanitizer before distributing? No thank you! And wearing that "space mask" during Mass and distributing comnunion?! Horrible.

Sweet Holden. I feel like I’ve known you forever in this short time. I thank your family for sharing you with us and I thank you for being such an amazing little person. Your fight is over. You went from a Cancer Warrior to an Angel within 3 years and while we know you will be missed terribly by your family, they have some wonderful memories to comfort them. You’re free from sickness, weakness and anything that caused you discomfort in your lifetime. Rest well sweet boy🥺🙏🏾❤️
I was a parishioner and was confirmed as an adult at Saints Peter and Paul in Naperville in 1995. This beautiful parish is so dear to my heart, and these live-streamed Masses bring back so many fond memories as well as provide graces for today/this present time.
Chad and Alex, I don’t have sufficient words to tell you how incredibly sorry I am for the loss of sweet Holden. I pray you can find peace in your memories and knowing what amazing parents you are to him. I’ve prayed daily for you all, and will continue to do so. I am so sorry.

There are no words that I can offer that can take away the excruciating, incomprehensible pain your family, friends and loved ones must be going through. Holden impacted so many lives and his time on earth while short was meaningful, filled with love and joy that comes from living in the love of a family that values love and compassion. A family that knew every minute with their son was precious and a gift to be valued. Your baby boy is free from pain now, playing with friends and rejoicing with our lord.
