What’s up ? Saw some vids last night . Good content . I ve been messing with the granite , k6s and rlaarlo cf Omni but usually the k6s and granite lately . I was thinking if a 3s typhon for backyard jumping with a kcrc. Or a team corally spark or the other one , or typhon 6s . Has to be a buggy for the next one .
Yeah, it's been through the ringer. Bent chassis in one of the other videos, I thought arms would be broken how many times it's one rig I'll probably buy again.
Can you share your cleaning process after the beach runs. I recently took a few vehicles to the beach and found it took a toll on the bearings and CVD’s. I found that steel wool removed the rust spots on the CVD’s, but I had to replace a number of the bearings. I did make sure they stayed in the dry sand and never got close to the water.
Great idea! But I usually spray wd-40 silicon on bearings, and wherever screws are, just to be on the safe side and pressure wash as soon as I get home and use blower to blow water of and let dry, then re spray wd-40 silicon.
That thing really moves, nice! I was digging into my Kraton yesterday to find why I was getting some drivetrain noise. I found the pinion had come loose. Gave it some fresh loctite and snugged it back up. The endlinks for the shocks are being delivered today so I can get it ready to go again.
@@victorevan7893 It is all fixed and ready to go but it is starting to rain now. We are going to get close to 3" of rain over the next couple of days. I never changed the shock oil as the manual says it uses 1300cst oil. That is 100 weight and I don't have any that heavy.
I got the new 2085R installed in my XRT yesterday, it seems to work well. Now to see if it helps with the understeer at all. I didn't bother filming the swap. It was too damn hot, 98 yesterday. It is supposed to be close to 100 here for another week before things cool down a bit. I am not made for this kind of heat.
What shock fluid? I tried 50w but I might get an accelerometer to see how much of a difference even thicker oil makes on impact force. Even 10% less force is a huge deal when we’re talking 30ft drops
Dude how do you find spots like this. What the hell do I google. The only running I ever do is grass or pavement with a home made ramp, a pretty good ramp but still… I want some dirt! I want some fast long jumps!
Do you think it made the landing more plush? The heavier oil? Any shock absorbed by that fluid is less shock in your electronics and parts, which is always good in my book. Can’t beat the upgrade for how cheap fluid is 👍🏽
Temperature was still too cold for thicker shock oil at the time of testing, went back to stock, and then up to 40w, and with electronics seems fine, but with heavier oil in cooler temps, it seems more abrupt, and lower arm usually snaps.
Ya I was expecting you to be faster with your gears. I was showing 55 with mine on 20/46 gears with non belted sledgehammers. If I leave mine still when I turn it on it picks up 12 satellites and is ready to go in about 5 seconds. Nice to be home again, my stuff should get delivered today.
