Cute pooch. It's not often, but every now and then one of my cats with be trying to get comfortable on the covers of my bed while I'm in it, after a couple minuets I figure I'll help so I can get to sleep, I'll arrange the covers for her, I say there you go, then she gets off the bed, she didn't want my help.
One of my bassets would grunt while he performed the ritual all bassets know, and when he finally laid down, would heave a great basset sigh, because the ritual demands it.
34 kg bezwecken schon was. 😅❤❤❤❤❤❤
ma'am, that's a big dog with no legs 🤨 Once in the 80s, a county deputy brought me a court summons (for jury duty) I kept waiting for him to knock at the door (I had saw him turn into the drive thru the window) Finally I just went outside, and there sat Fred (our basset) staring up at him from beside the cruiser door. I called to him, but Fred being Fred ignored me. So I got a piece of bologna and call him again. Fred glanced my way so I shook the bologna at him and he came in a run (well, trot anyway) He took his bologna and went in the house. The deputy got out of his cruiser looked it me and said, "I wasn't sure if he was friendly. He may be low to the ground but that is still a big a$$ hound." 🤣 I told the deputy, Fred was waiting for him to get out of the vehicle, the mail carrier always gives him a treat if she came up to the house to deliver a package.
Opie doesn't seem to mind, I think he's on to Dudley. 🤣 We had a basset in the the 80s. Law have mercy, he was stubborn as a mule! It was his way or no way! My husband said I made him worse, because I babied him so much. 🤷♀️😆 (He was a rescue and the neighbor asked my husband if we got a cow because he heard a calf bawling and he thought it was coming from our place 😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣 Fred (our basset not the neighor) was never shy about voicing his opinion about EVERYYHING
That is the basset hound way! Dudley doesn’t really bark or bay except for when he’s chasing his brother but man when we wants something he will just grunt and moan until my brain wants to explode, he knows who is in charge of the house and takes advantage of it 😅😂😂
The 3 have now are totally indifferent, but man we used to have a pom back in the 90s that turned into the tanzanian devil every time a vacuum was turned on! 🌪️👿 my husband would take her outside (if possible) and he said she would stand it the door, growling, until I was done because she could still hear the vacuum! 😬
