OMgoodness!!! I know this was made a while ago but I’ve been searching for an affordable light that offers the shimmer effect like the expensive kessil. How did the light hold up and we th all todays newer technology would you still consider this a great light?
Thank you for this video it is very helpful I’ve been looking everywhere for things but I do have a question I seen one thing that says I need 325 watts minimum and another thing saying I need 625 Watts for a 125 gallon aquarium that I want to keep at 80°F
I didn’t know you were meant to add meliflex to the tank daily.!!!! No wonder I haven’t seen any improvement in my fish’s fin-rot.!!! I will be be doing it from today, On the bottom it doesn’t say say DAILY, it just says do it for 7 days. Which I thought that meant, keep the product solution in the water for 7 days and do a water chance and add it again…like we do for most other products. I was add it daily from today, and add the fish salt. The poor thing doesn’t have any fins to swim with. Thanks for clearing that up and for your advice. Should I remove the live plants if I’m adding the aquarium salt .???
Thank you! My platinum angel got a boo boo from my eel.. hoping this can get her back up and going. The eel has been removed from the tank and placed in his own tank
We bought a couple (??) some days ago from a dealer (Spain). Two days in the tank and the male is already chasing the female around... The fish come from Vietnam.
According to the gurus at cichlid-forum.com, this type of rockscape is NOT appropriate for mbuna cichlids. They say the rocks need to be smaller, but stacked higher, creating lots of little caves, crevices, and niches for the cichlids to hide. Maybe that's why the fish in the video are all swimming at the top of the tank instead of doing their natural behavior of exploring the rocks.
I have a pair of angel fish, a male and a female. Recently the male sustained a wound to his mouth...he is eating fine, although he cannot close his mouth fully. I am thinking that the pair "locked lips" during the night. I added aquarium salt, and the Melafix will be here tomorrow. Do I add the Melafix into the salt treated aquarium once it arrives, or do a partial water change before adding the product? I just don't want to lose my beautiful angel fish.
