Indonesia Papua people enjoy a much more robust economy than PNG,higher gdp percapita, higher HDI,improved infrastructure iniciatives, AUSTRALIA CHOOSE TO LEAVE PNG ALONE,WHICH IS QUITE SAD
There is little upside to helping Haiti, except merely avoiding a spill-over of problems. The only real long-term solution would require lots of boots on the ground and kinetic involvement before anything could be built. Not yet politically feasible, though I hope it comes to that soon. Then rebuilding with an uneducated, corrupt and undisciplined population would be a huge challenge. Letting a failed state become a narco-State would be disastrous and complicate global efforts against organized crime.
Armenia came to the rescue of Armnians in Karabakh who were surrounded and being ethnically cleansed by the Azeris. Azerberjan began ethnically cleansing Armenians from all parts of its country after the Automous region of Karabakh voted legally to be made part of Armenia. The BS of Armenia just invading Azerberjan is the Azeri narrative that makes them the victim when it was in fact they that started the conflict by attempting to ethnically cleanse its country of Armenians which they ultimatly succeeded in. Shame on you to not dig a little deaper and just accepting Azeri propanganda.
Common in central Asian military command structures: President places his stupid, psychotic, neerdowell, hedonistic son in charge of presidential guard to groom him for scary prospect that he will succeed him.
You tease this as a three part series. But I have to wait 6 months for the rest. Im sure what topic you decide will be interesting as aways. I look forward to seeing your completed report you're working on. Thanks from kiwiland.
Actually , the Russians have of late being deporting a lot of Tajik migrant workers from Russia in the aftermath of the Moscow terror attack. An important aspect of this entire Geopolitical gamut is the relationship between the central Asian republics and Afghanistan which has minority populations that share ethnic origins with almost all of these countries and have been continuously engaged in some kind of civil conflict with the Pashtuns . That a large number of troops fielded by Soviet Union during its congested occupation of Afghanistan came from these countries is another reason behind the uneasy relationship that these countries have with Afghanistan. Indians do operate out of Tajikistan though such operations can't be described as such routine ones as follow permanent deployments. India air force was seen operating from Ayni even as it airlifted its nationals once the US forces left and the Taliban began their second stint at power. All through the Afghan civil war , the Northern Alliance , the same coalition of non - Pashtun forces which later played a pivotal part in helping the US forces quickly topple the Taliban , had been financially and militarily supported by the Iranians and the Indians . This support increased after the Taliban came to power in 1995 . The Tajik population of Afghanistan was a beneficiary of this assistance , something Tajikistan by itself could not have managed . Iran has always had a difficult time dealing with Sunni fundamentalist groups in Afghanistan . Now after the advent of Taliban 2.0 things have changed a bit with Improved relations between the Taliban and Iran even as the terms that the Taliban had with Pakistan have deteriorated . Though initially the Indians were very suspicious , the Taliban seemed to have quite deftly won them over .
Your channel is one of the most brilliant ones across even the widest spectrum of portals that deal with current geopolitical and strategic affairs . Kudos .
recent headlines indicate Russia will join China for any Taiwan move. Are the uk and france weenies or will they participate? third side show: Japan. Taiwan has the Clauswitz defender advantage. Taiwan air force rocks. China has threatened total war over Taiwan including nukes. China DOES have a first strike policy.
The most ridiculous pile of crap I have ever heard... every part of it is the ravings of a brainwashed moron...had to stop listening after laughing so much my ass fell off!!! I am an EX Aussie... left for SE Asia after listening to 3 DECADES of this anti China propaganda!!! And equally ignorant about Russia I might add!!! Here are a few questions... How many countries has China invaded since WWII? How many countries has the US invaded since WWII? How many countries has China performed a regime change in since WWII? How many countries has the US performed a regime change in since WWII? How many overseas bases does China have? How many overseas bases does the US have? What is the name of the sea where the US and the Philippines (and Oz?) like to play war games?
kosovo je serbia, todo mi amor y mi fuerza para mis hermanos serbios (menos cuando nadal y djokovijc jueguen) un fuerte abrazo a toda la gente de serbia
The key flaw in your analysis is the failure to take into account the manufacturing might of Chinese economy. The same assumption was made about Russia that they can’t sustain their weapon and equipment losses and they will no choice but to give up once their stockpile has dwindled. The fact has turned out that it is west who had trouble to keep up supplies to Ukrainian forces. US’s reliance on advanced and expensive weapons is their advantage and Achilles heel as shown in Ukraine they take a lot money and time to replenish. If China direct their manufacturing base to support war efforts can you imagine how many drones and missiles it can produce a year. They don’t need quality they need quantity which they will get. Once the American navy runs out their million dollar a pop missiles to shot down the Chinese cheaper and mass produced drones and missiles, they will be sitting ducks.
