Hello! Thank you for your video. I was looking for information on Lyrec SM motor but fount it very rare. I have one motor with no starting motor on top and also no power supply. I wonder if I could somehow replicate/make the starting motor and power supply. If I could find the starting motor that would be better but I don't think it is possible. Also I'd like to ask if there is any Lyrec motor available.
Have you considered using a donkey motor? This is a smaller separate motor to spin the main motor up to speed. They are common in large generator systems.
@Jonghyun Kim - You don't need the small motor, is just for start, you can start it manually. I have the original documentation of Lyrec SM8 motor, if you still need it, i can scan and send it to you. I have too one SM8 motor, i want to build a high end turntable but i do not have the bearing of the turntable, I'm still looking, if you know one, I'm interested

Ann Cole recorded the original version in 1956. IMO, the best and she was/is 1 of my 3 fav female singers - she sang sooo good and was so sweet. The 2 other favorite females being Etta James & Patsy Cline.
