Austria’s most important violin competition dates back to the prize that violinist and composer Fritz Kreisler privately donated every year, before 1938, for the best violin student at the Vienna Music Academy. 1979 saw the year that the competition became international, where violinists of all nationalities were able to compete. Since 1979, the International Fritz Kreisler Society organizes the International Fritz Kreisler Violin Competition every four years in Vienna, Austria.

Unfortunately, I do not have the opportunity to listen to all the participants in this significant competition, dedicated to the memory of the brilliant Fritz Kreisler, but even from those small segments of the programs of other participants I can express my opinion with deep confidence and indisputable conviction: the remaining participants cannot be compared with the magnificent musician and phenomenal violinist Daniil Kogan, who set an unattainable standard of highly artistic and truly masterful playing. unattainable, for the rest of the participants - often advanced students who have nothing in common with world-class violinists! I would very much like to hear the opinion of the jury members, as well as direct listeners, about the fairness of the distribution of prizes and in general about the end of this event, which cannot be called anything other than shameful!
К сожалению , у меня нет возможности слушать всех участников этого знаменательного конкурса , посвященного памяти гениального Фрица Крейслера , но даже по тем небольшим отрезкам программ прочих участников могу с глубокой уверенностью и непререкаемой убежденностью выразить свое мнение : остальные участники ни в какое сравнение не идут с великолепным музыкантом и феноменальным скрипачом Даниилом Коганом , который установил недостижимый стандарт высокохудожественной и подлинно мастерской игры . недостижимый , для остальных участников - зачастую продвинутых студентов ничего не имеющих общего со скрипачами мирового уровня ! Очень хотелось бы услышать мнение участников жюри , а также непосредственных слушателей о справедливости распределения премий и вообще о завершении этого события , которое никак кроме как позорным не назовешь !
Вы совершенно точно выразили в словах то, что я чувствую, когда слышу любое произведение в исполнении Даниила: он " установил недостижимый стандарт высокохудожественной и подлинно мастерской игры, недостижимый для остальных участников конкурса - зачастую продвинутых студентов ничего не имеющих общего со скрипачами мирового уровня!". Да, Даниил Коган сегодня - великолепный музыкант и феноменальный скрипач.
