dbd and the amazing devil is a match made in heaven and i love everything about this! (also "i will be the man my father never was" is absolutely perfectly heartbreaking for charles... like ouch! but in the best way possible lol)
Really gives off this building desperation and madness of freefalling without control, all while desperately trying to stop it, all for it to end in empty futility.
to someone who has actually watched the show all the way through instead of deciding at some point that it's not worth wading through the nonsense I have a quick question: does Neo ever actually _loose_ a fight? I know they pretty much threw everything but the names out the window after Monty died but there was a *reason* that in a work with both it's script and it's setting built around the mechanics of animating fight scenes as story elements she was the only character that approached combat as if she were, well, a *combatant* instead of as a fighting game character or an anime character.
It might be on the nose, but it is absolutely accurate. Especially for Neo, who tried to get her friend back and get revenge on Ruby, but in the end just went mad.
