general rule of thumb, i hit the flashing poke stop every time no matter what its how i control my gambling addiction (also thanks for the list i've been trying to cook something up forever with dragapult bc it always feels just shy of dominant and this was the push i needed to finally give up on the drakloak engine. glad to see someone else using mela bc its a card I've always played with and never see anywhere else)
i play alot of blissey online and this weekend on a REALLIFE fun tournament... all i can say is that OHKO Decks like raging bolt, chien pao, gholdengo have 0 problems against this deck. Every other Deck who cannot do this have a pretty hard time and no fun at all.
Ok I know this is a little off topic and I am so sorry but I really want to get into the online TCG format and I was wondering what Tricky Gym normally plays on when showing off his decks.
just wanted to say i once was at a tournament and was runnin chien pao and went to look at my prizes and guess what i found........2 baxcalibur wasnt so perfect then but i did manage to take 3 prizes that game just attaching energy from hand
How do you guys poker shuffle your cards without seriously damaging the integrity of the card? I just get flashbacks to family when playing, and the cards are all weak in the middle with a visible line of the mangled cardboard
I think the Revaroom deck may be a fun deck to play. Maybe not meta but the format has a lot of mons that rely on 2 hit KOs. With a Rigid band they would have to hit 310 to OHKO and then you can hit for 250 and discard to avoid the counter KO. Promote Mikikyu or something disruptive. Would need Metang and probably 3-4 rods to work but seems like a fun deck to mess around with.
Japan does compete in worlds, usually they have to ignore their most recent set or two for worlds because that set hasn’t been released to the rest of the world yet
I recently had an idea for an ace-spec supporter and was wondering whether it would be trash or completely busted: Ace-Spec Supporter When you play this card, choose one supporter card from your hand, deck or discard pile and use their effect. If you searched your deck for a supporter in this way, put it in the discard pile and shuffle your deck. Any thoughts?
Am I wrong for thinking it would have been better play at 11:44 for him to have played Earthen Vessel so he only discards forest seal stone then he could have ultra balled and either discarded energy to keep both supporters since that was his one gripe, or that way he could have at least had more clear option of discarding the cyllene supporter and still have an energy and Arven and Kieran and got the pokemon off the Ultra Ball… is that wrong play?? and could someone educate me why, and what right play is?? Been getting into pokemon cards again and getting into TCG for real first time as I didn’t have ability to growing up with my parents and I will take all the tips and help as I don’t have any one to play in real life or on Pokemon TCG live except for the standard ranked matches hahaha
Waste several turns powering up Walking Wake, run bibs draw engine, use dangerous laser, maybe get knockout, play Cylene next turn, flip heads every time, bibs it up. Rinse and repeat. Nothing can go wrong with this strategy.
Hey there! new to format, having trouble understanding the properties of Energy. around 11:50 mark you mention Counter Energy not being Electric when youre winning. How does sequencing work in this game re: discarding energies during an attack? Ex: if youre behind, you use Regieleki's Teraspark (utilizing Counter Energy for LL), and the attack results in a KO to bring both players to equal prizes, is Counter Energy discarded? Thanks!
On the topic of dangerous lasers, let me say as someone who played during hypno-toxic laser days - YOU DON'T WANT THAT GAME. If that card exists in the game, don't even bother playing. Just flip a coin. Call heads of tails. You'll have as much fun. So many games were just decided by the coin flips from that blasted card. I HATED it so much. It ruined the game for me. It's not fun to play a game that's consistently decided by who flips coins better!
The second maintenance after Twilight Masquerade released has just finished and Palafin is still bugged…they even have the audacity to start this „fun“ beach event with Palafin decks and coins and deck boxes…like they wanted to make up for it not being playable…but shocker, it still isn’t! My Palafin will still just appear over other cards and then when i want to play it, ups, that wasn’t actually Palafin, that was a Nestball and now you can’t do anything anymore cause that messed up the game, guess you’ll have to end your turn early hahaha 🙄
I've been running Palafin ex with dudunsparce as the draw engine. Dunsparce has a free retreat and dudunsparce does the same thing abra does but also draws 3 cards so they are both really useful, I also have 2 iron valiants and 2 kieran so that I can hit dragapult in one turn if needed. I may cut the valiants at some point
I can’t wait to build a kingambit Pecharunt (non ex) shrouded fable deck it seems very viable pecharunt can put 5 damage counters on your opponents poisoned Pokémon during check up and kingambit make a Pokémon knocked out if it has more then 4 damage counters on it
