Yes. If you know how to change the Slide Layout, that will affect all slides with the same layout. Both the foreground and the background are customizable.
I use Ecamm LIVE. However, I just put a bunch of Keynote templates in my store. They all have slides that you can export with transparent backgrounds as PNG files to use as overlays. The set of files will be $10 but is now on sale for $5. My plan is to add a playlist of "how to" videos so people can DIY these if they want, but I wanted to get the files out now so people can use them and then add the videos as soon as I can for DIY folks. mikesheley.com/store/p/keynote-live-streaming-overlay-templates
Exactly. Overlay with green screen or no background. Overlay for screen teaching. Overlay for making different scene in streaming software. that could be cool because you’re good with Keynote.
Hi there, I saw that you did respond to somebody five months ago, and I'm hoping you will see this comment from me. I want to be able to switch between chrome full sized windows the same function that is currently being done by control right and left arrow within my Mac, but I would want to be done with command tab instead of the control right or left arrow. How would I be able to create a shortcut for this?
I've been digging into this. From what I can see, and I mentioned this in the video, since "command tab" is used at the Mac OS level, you can't use that as a specific keyboard shortcut for Chrome. Sorry about that.
Would you rather use this tutorial and build this yourself or purchase a template and have most of the work done for you? Let me know here in the comments.
Very similar. But there enough differences that I thought it would be helpful for people to see where things are and how they work specifically on the iPad. And some people have an iPad and no Mac.
Love your videos. My presentation using your timeline transition impressed my employers 😄Please keep them coming. I think you’ll reach more and more of us who are seeking your material! ☺️
Thank you! I’m glad to hear it was helpful for work. Are there any presentation challenges or questions I can help you with? Working on a few new videos now and would love to provide more practical content.
Thank you . . . and I have quit making videos with background music. I thought it was a good idea, but realize most people just want to learn how to do something and don't need the music competing for their attention. Sorry about that. Lesson learned.
I have been pulling my hair out looking for something, and it brought me to your video. Great explanation. One thing I cant figure out is how to add a text box to a video. I want a simple description of where the video was taken on the video itself. I can use Clips or iMovie, but that it cumbersome as I have to import, edit, then export back to photos. Is there a simple way to do this??
@mzbreski I've been doing some research and unfortunately, using an app like Clips, iMovie, CapCut, or DaVinci Resolve seems to be the only way I can see to add text to a video. Markup is grayed out in Apple Photos when a video is selected. Sorry about that. I of course found a bunch of other software that can be purchased, but then you run into the same process of exporting, editing, and re-importing. If you had your location services turned on when you filmed the video, in the top menu you can go to "Window" and "Info" to see a small map with location details. But it looks like, at least for now, adding text or subtitles to a video are not possible in Apple Photos.
Thanks. I worked with iMovie and Clips over the weekend and they do work, but exporting and re-importing removes the location tag, which is a bummer. Thanks for replying
How do you not have more subscribers? Thank you for the info and the straightforward presentation. It was very helpful. Do you have any more mac photo videos? Any you recommend? How about podcast assistance, who would you recommend? Thanks again.
Thank you! If you like my content, then help spread the word! I appreciate it. I have a video that talks about the power of images in presentations, but no more Mac specific photo videos. This one was created to answer a question someone gave me. I would recommend *_MacMostVideo_* : www.youtube.com/@macmost and their playlist on Mac photography: ru-vid.com/group/PL1bsBsPtN-9TdvkV1bUHUcw0q485JMmhZ&si=DsCkjKlZlXv-ccJU And I don't have experience creating podcasts . . . yet . . . so I will recommend these two videos for podcast assistance: *_How To Create A Podcast for Beginners in 2024_* ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-mwFYiFZO6sI.htmlsi=TiHV__HSmLcezU2a How to Start a Podcast in 2023 | The Flow LIVE ru-vid.comBbyRb6cZdAw?si=EhTQb0WQkWXw_Jkx
@@PresentationHelp Very helpful, plus adding the links is quite a gesture. Your clear presentation will serve you well when you start your podcast. Thank you again.
Yes you can. It looks a little different, but the same technique is possible. I made this with students and iPad but non-Mac users in mind. Maybe I need to make one for Keynote on Mac too.
Magic Move is an option. It does have it's own tricks and limitations. You'd need to copy everything that you want to move, otherwise it will dissolve. You'd have to have some elements "off screen" on the first slide and then move them over on the second. Although this really interested me, I still believe "Push" is the best way to go.
Unfortunately, I haven't found a way to do any animation/transition moving backwards. This only works for me when I create the illusion of moving backwards. The other option is to use Prezi, where you can pan and zoom with an actual timeline. prezi.com/
@@PresentationHelp Oh, ok. Thanks! I asked because the morph transition (basically the same as magic move in powerpoint) allows the transition to work both ways, but you need a paid subscription to use it.
JESUS CHRIST LOVES YOU. JESUS CHRIST DIED FOR YOU IN THE CROSS AND GAVE HIS LIFE TO SAVE YOU. ACCEPT JESUS CHRIST INTO YOUR HEART AND ACCEPT HIM AS YOUR LORD AND SAVIOR. THIS MAY SOUND MEAN, BUT ITS A CALMER TONE. PLEASE TAKE THIS INTO CONSIDERATION. JESUS CHRIST WILL NEVER LEAVE YOU NOR FORSAKE YOU.
Bro you should change the title of the video, make it simpler to understand and also at the start of the video you should display what you’re gonna make(just a friendly suggestion)
Would it possible to showcase how to do some technical diagram presentations? An example is linked below. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-NHhtXpAcAc0.htmlsi=tX4oNc3ICXOH2BJv
As a teacher in digital marketing I approve this video and agree. My school is Office 365. I used Google Sheets too, but my heart is with Keynote still. That said - if you get really good at presentations the tool isn't that important. Look at how Apple does its Keynotes. It's often very simple slides with one or two words on each slide and a great photo of something. A good way to do a presentation is to first write it as a speech and then add the foils afterwards because their value is to help emphasize the main points and topics of your speech.
Hi Mike. I've searched all over and can't find a way to remap a key or letter as a replacement. I would like to replace my % symbol for a "Down facing arrow" symbol. So when I type %, instead it would type the down arrow...How do I do this? Thanks.
They are both presentation apps. PowerPoint is made by Microsoft. Keynote is made by Apple. Keynote is my favorite. But if you have the right skills and principles, you can make effective presentations on either.
