I just came into the shop this weekend and picked up the Multicam Militia set. Been larping around in it to get it broken in. Great gear guys, glad I could support local. Coming for that ballistic helmet soon.
There should be a cable strung from all the bolts. A stabbing blade would deflect, and be trapped in the cable giving the shield bearer the brief advantage.
You are missing a very important key point here... these shields are not just to be used against freedom fries. These things work great when you encounter an NPC that starts screaming at you because you have a particular bumper sticker or flag in your yard. You just pull this thing out and hold it just like you would normally. They get mad and hit the shield with their fist and it hurts and they back off while you keep walking. It works for any socially awkward encounter. Catfished on a date? Just pull out the shield and hold it in front of your face and go back to your car and you are good to go!
Like a Spartan but Something concave and round with coverage from hip to neck. And a cut away Infront of the hand hold so you can still use your left hand to steady your weapon.
Question: could you design something more like a small Spartan shield? One you can use your arm horizontally to deploy? And what about ones with sight windows so you can keep your face more protected? I'm all for the concept, just floating ideas.
Closet shield is a decent use case. Depends on the defendability of your home. No need to cart it around just make a known portable hard point with access in your plan.
3:48 - “Gentleman’s Agreements”. Now that’s funny. because where I’m from in a street fight there are no agreements. It’s just “balls out” whoever wins.
This is an Example of Failed Business, you're Customers already died from real bullet's from crazy design of you're Ballistic Shield. It's not Safe but burden to use because of lacking design that will Hits the groins, leg's, other part's in your body
For civilian use this and the video are the most ridiculous thing I've seen in a long time. Absolutly no reason you would need this as a civilian, but ANTIFA would love to purchase quite a few. Secondly, lugging around and caring for all the traditional riot gear is a tremendous amount of work.
1 Shouldn't there be (or is there) a slight curve//wraparound to it? 2 On the description (F150 etc) post a weight to it. 3 Do you make or have you considered a "Dolly" version of this? Large-wheeled-slotted? Thx for the vid. MJ
