Hello everyone and welcome to DAVE'S WREATHS AND THINGS. A channel where we showcase art, creativity, and FUN!!!
I am so excited that you have decided to watch and join me in on my little creative adventures here on RU-vid.
My name is Dave, I am the host of this channel and I am also a self exploring artist living in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
Each week, I will be uploading a video for you to follow along to create new and exciting items for your home, office or anywhere. Wreaths, wreaths, and more wreaths along with paintings, crafts, ideas, and maybe I will even try things I have never done before...who knows what we'll explore and try out together.

Hi dave diy donna here love them all just beautiful I have been really busy thanks to you Teaching us how to make wreath's I've been making a lot of wreath's lately I need to send you a picture of them thank you so much my sweet friend
Hi there, thank you for this great question. You can use a little home lighter or bbq lighter on the cut edges to stop the ribbon from fraying. Please use caution when doing this, you don't need a lot of flame or have the flame on the ribbon for a long time....it's a very fast, very quick movement, just to seal the cut edges. Hope that helps, and again, use caution when dealing with the lighter against the ribbon. Thank you.
Loooove this Dave!! ❤❤ So glad I stumbled upon your channel a year ago!! Would you be able to make a wreath with just artificial fall leaves?? I would love to make one but have no idea where to start (except purchasing the leaves) 😂😂
Hi there, that is a great idea. I have put that down on my request list. I'll see if maybe I can add that to the Spring wreaths coming up for 2025. Thanks for the request. 😊
I am so glad to have come across this. I gift wrap Christmas gifts for my co-workers but there is only one that I do a ribbon for. I will WOW them this year!
Hi Dave im currently out of the crafting game because of surgery on my left elbow and hand & my 3 fingers so i started therapy trying to get my fingers working my question is how much did you spend on the wreath to make it and would you have any ideas that I could do to work on still getting sensitivity back in my fingers love watching your work please keep them coming 💜
Hi Lisa, I'm so sorry you're going through what you are going through. I am not a doctor or physiotherapist, so I would not be able to comment on how to get sensitivity back in your fingers. I would consult with your doctor to see what exercises you can do at home to help with that. I hope it all goes well for you. The cost for this particular wreath was approx. $20 (CDN). 😊
Hi Stephanie, for this wreath, I had used four full rolls, and then a little bit from a fifth roll. If you are doing this wreath, I would suggest getting an extra roll or two, depending on how many colours you are using. They say the roll lengths are 5 yards, but my green rolls were shorter. Thanks so much and happy wreath making 😊
Hi Lena, sorry, the giveaway has ended a while ago. This was just a complication of past videos put together. You can google "surebonder" for their website and they have them on there for sale. Hope that helps. 😊
Omg we need a hobby lobby, and a dollar tree in Melbourne, Australia especially on the peninsula. Ha ha ha ha this would make me soooo Christmas happy. I have absolutely love everything you made today Dave, keep them coming. I adore making Christmas decorations for my home. Xoxo 😘
