This version is more similar to the version in the actual game; a lot of people seem to follow some sort of official sheet music that has unnecessary additional notes in weird places - for example, they always play a C note at around 0:48-0:49, and that note alone completely ruins the mood of the melody to me - but this version seems to be based on the more straightforward game version.
This randomly popped up in my recommendations, and the second i clicked play, i immediately recognized it from several years ago. Funny, the things that pop back into your life.
Hope you come back with more. I ended up associating this tune with very fond memories and great times, so its weird for me but, but even as unhinged and disturbing as you made it sound, I still enjoy it somehow and feel pretty good about listening to it.
I feel that vibrating tones tend to evoke a feeling of sadness; probably because they kind of mimic the somewhat trembling face muscles of someone who is crying. This can be heard a lot in the Game Over theme for "Final Fantasy 2" on the Famicom.
Every year I search for covers of "This is Gallifrey" and the yours is the best by far. Thank you for this beautiful interpretation and congratulations for being so talented 😊
Thank you for watching ^_^ . . . I've also got a couple more cool videogame music covers I'm getting close to having ready (finally), so look out for them! XD
You, of course, are beautiful. A wonderful expose' of your marvelous talent. Whoever did your video did a great job. The music? Well, I'm an 81 year old conservative with no taste in these genres.😊
You guys are amazing, not one note missing... 8 years and only 2.6k likes.... criminal... I keep coming back to this every year and I want you to know you are fucking amazing!!!!
