Some good theatre/show programmes there with signatures. Those are the value in that fiver job lot. Gerry Marsden was lead singer with Gerry & the Pacemakers, who sang 'Ferry Across the Mersey'. They were big in the 60s.
I’m from Birmingham ….. ooh the cheek!!! You’ve got a point though! The flask, get a bottle of white vinegar, fill it and leave it for 24 hours!!! My best book, I paid a £1 for a signed Phillip Pullman book and sold for £1000! One a week would be great eh?
The game works because I tested it many years ago ha ha. Its quite an easy fix too, I used to do it all the time, remove the 72 pin connector from the console dead easy to do all just screws and sounds like Alexis has all about taken it apart. This sounds crazy but I promise it works, get a pan, fill it with water and bring to the boil, place the connector in the pan of boiling water for about 5-10 minutes, remove 72 pin connector then leave to dry out for 24 hours, then put it all back together and you will be doing the Boss Man Slam in no time.
@@thats_flipping_retro yeah for three years all I used to do was just games and consoles, one point I would buy faulty NES systems as it was such an easy fix. I will look in the unit if I have the 360 brick, but I'm pretty sure I don't have any left, at one point the power brick was worth more then the console. Ohhh and PS don't ever change, your both brilliant.
I love that you showed your winnings. I love the tiny books. Some of my favorite finds ha:e been tiny books. Those are my favorites. The video was really good showing all your finds. Thank you. That was fun. ❤😅
Hey guys, we just came across your channel. Nice to see another UK buyer and seller. some great seaside bargains in the shops. My favourite item was the Star Wars plates.X
Hi girls, another great vlog, I just love the variety of stuff you sell. I am myself am a full-time eBay reseller and get most of my stuff from auctions. I don't seem to bother with charity shops there far to overpriced. What do you think about chazz shops?
Hi girls. Another interesting vid. Lovely story about the documents, and the Bakelite inkwell was really up my street. Could you put your eBay address in your remarks (or your actual ebay selling name) because I can't find you to have a browse. Looking forward to next posting!😀
Thanks so much for the shout out 👍👍 can't wait to add Slimer to my collection, we actually visited the Ghostbusters fire station in may when we were in NYC so had to buy him 😎😎😎
I know nothing about gaming or consoles, so have two questions 1. Why do you not unscrew the consoles to clean out food crumbs 2. Do you check games from start to finish and how long does this take? TIA
@@judithpride1690 the majority of the food crumbs are stuck in the crevices rather than inside the console itself. As much as we would love to test games start to finish it would take far too much time! Thanks for watching x
I used to retrobyte the consoles, there is a way of doing them without causing damage, Jerome Russel BBlonde hair dye, rub a small amount of it on then leave in the sun for 10-12 hours and bobs your uncle, I did it regular back in the day when all I did was games and consoles. Disc cleaning was a pain and lex is right sometimes it’s not worth bothering.
Great vlog, playstation was my console in fact I still own and play on my ps1, 2 and 3. Have you tried a little dab of t-cut and a microfiber cloth to get rid of the scratches?
Thanks people. I've been waiting over 40 years for a stick related competition to use that one. Remember kids, never give up on your dreams. They might just come true.
@@leebarcode1973 haha well make sure you send us your address so we can post your prize out! Then we will need to see pictures of you with your prize 😂
