+Leader Mega hello Leader Mega, in all honesty, this netbook is only great when you have SSD running on it and light programs such as Microsoft word and such. This machine is not exactly considered impressive in any way really but it does get the job done. It is small and portable and if you are lucky enough, you can score this machine for about $100 more or less. This video was done to help those get around bios passwords for this exact machine because bios locks are often used more and more to prevent theft in schools, work, and etc but even then, it simply gets in the way when a user forgot password, accidentally put bios, or other reasons.
That friend will just use it for like word and slideshows while she's on her work meanwhile she s keeping her i3 laptop in her house for more heavy tasks

I did the same process but it is still asking me my password, I know the password because I put it but the problem is the next: I want to format my bios because the netbook has been crashing lately and sometimes it doesn't give me video neither for the bios password, today that netbook works but I still want to renew the bios...does the usb is bootable with fat32 or just in format fat32?
this just broke my laptop completely. it turned on for about 2 seconds, turned off and now there is nothing. got an emachine e525. any suggestions anyone? no lights on the laptop when I have the charger plugged in
I specifically made this guide for the e Machines 355. Your using e525. I don't know if that model uses the same method to re flash the bios. If it does, you better be using the right bios firmware for that machine and not the firmware from the 355.
computer keeps turning off after about 4 seconds while holding the fn and esc keys and should i burn a disk image or just burn the file to the disk????
Jeffery McNiff Make sure laptop is plugged in. Make sure it is an emachines model laptop. Make sure you copy and paste the file to usb. No need to burn anything. Copy, paste, done. Plug usb in laptop after. Usb must be fat32. No need to burn anything.
Hi, I tried to do this on my eMachine E725. When i pluged AC and holded Fn+ESC and pressed power button my laptop booted with loud fan and after ~4seconds turned off and now it's now even turning on and doesnt responds to AC. What should I do ?
Hi again. Just wanted to say that I removed hdd and RAM's, put in back and laptop loaded succesfully. But when I tried to do your trick again I got same problem. Tried with older BIOS version and got same problem. Any ideas?
