Who do you imagine you are talking to with this type of monologue where there are no characters? Same question - for how do you story-tell to an audience? Do you imagine someone you know that you are talking to, for example?
It's not just ageism it's also those with a disability and over 50 who find it difficult to get hired. It's also harder if you are not very techno savvy and don't understand how to do video interviews.
Well you did that at the Harlequins on Saturday, ❤👏👏💯 those drops were insane.. Also Pete Tong was so disappointing last year. You sent me home on a high and I am 47.. 😊
Love this. Reminds me of a quote from Zen Master Shunryu Suzuki: "Rather be grateful for the weeds in your mind, for eventually they will enrich your practice."
I had never read this Shakespeare passage. It seems almost contemporary...Shakespeare was a fucking genius. Helena's rendition is brilliant and moving.
' We are a flow of tendencies ' someone once told me.Sister Bliss sounds like someone who hasn't,despite her musical achievements, been too blown around by the 8 worldly winds and has clearly shown a tendency to want to share her creative abilities with others and by default has therefore expended a lot of energy, and i think love,in the service of others. It is incalculable the amount of joy and pleasure that the music that Faithless created brought to millions of people around the world.Actions have consequences which can be observed whan a stone is dropped into the centre of a pond - the ripples travel outward eventually hitting the bank and then reflect back to the centre of origin. My wife treated me for my birthday when i was in my late fifties to a Faithless concert at Hammersmith i think and tickets never arrived so she bought a second pair and it came in at around £400 all told but i remember that concert being one of the highlights of my life and my wife noted that i had become completely detached from the mundane world and i was in a state of euphoria throughout the whole gig ! That's priceless so don't underestimate the joy that you have created and inspired both now and i hope for the forseeable future.Hopefully " Everything will be alright tomorrow " and i think that her comments have reminded us of some inequitable circumstances that by now should be consigned to history but by reminding us has accentuated the ' work in progress ' and the good news is - if we close our eyes and listen ( or dance ! ) - for a few precious moments everything else just disappears. Magic.Keep making it happen !
I would suggest that Ms Bonham-Carter should try to read out aloud the Holy Qur'an. The Book was written by the Almighty Creator. Qur'an means "Recitation". Words that are meant to be said and shared when reading it.
Carter lives around the corner from me and seemed friendly the few times I`ve seen her in the street, was this clip something to do with the lockdown earlier in 2021?
