I understand what you’re saying, but calling it elevator music is crazy lol. But you feel like this song for elevators or movie scenes? Nah my man, it’s just good music. I really think you should try expanding your musical vocabulary and try new things. Maybe this genre isn’t for you and that’s totally fine, but I’d say try to not simplify heartfelt and original music/art in such a dismissive way, even though I can tell that’s not what you meant. I’d say don’t react to things if you know, by genre, you won’t be into it cause it’s not enjoyable to listen to someone repeat “it’s like elevator music” or “it’s good in its own way, but… *continues to repeat himself*.” Yknow what I mean?
