Monica drags people through the mud if they give her bullshit, but she is incredibly loyal to those who are loyal to her. Everyone should be like this.
To be fair Gilfoyle had a point about Laurie. Monica isnt exactly unbiased here considering Laurie did indeed sabotage Pied piper early on with the law suit, fire Richard at one point, and even forced the sale of his company. Id hesitate to EVER trust her with that much power on my company after getting screwed by VC so many times. Laurie cant be trusted.
Ah... the old good times when we talked about "crypto". All these people now have realized there is no such thing, and there is Bitcoin only. But this was already too good for its time.
This line is so funny “Would you ask your wife who to cheat with?” Because the actor that plays Richard had a Rolling Stone article admitting to threesomes with his wife
I love how Richard goes from mansplaining what an ICO is to Monica and her instantly making him the idiot he is and illuminating how almost every decision Richard makes without adult supervision is wrong, and likely will further destroy himself with. It’s pretty much the story arch.
Why does Hollywood think their female characters have to use the f word in every sentence? They think it shows strength but it just comes across as crude. Male executives don’t talk like that unless they’re weak.
I'm impressed by both Richard and Erlich in this. Richard bc he's the best devlopper and assume a great responsability of it. And Erlich bc he direclty saw where Dinesh and Gilfoyle where going. Like he knows people behaviour and their minds. The show really missed smt without him
They should have done this sooner. Save for Holden, all of the characters introduced in the later seasons were lame. They should have had more Monica interacting with the guys and less of the new people.
I'm mesmerized by this. I recently read a similar book, and I was completely mesmerized. "The Hidden Empire: Inside the Private Worlds of Elite CEOs" by Adam Skylight
