Wow! I have a bit of this in my front yard. I don't mind it. So knowing it's a beneficial perennial herb, i feel better letting it come back every year. Now i can focus on the more undesirable things in the yard. New sub!💚
Ugh. This happens to me every year. Only the tomatoes in pots grow well. I discovered it was because of my black walnut trees. It's the juglone that the tree put out. Anyway, that might be what's happening for you. Even raises beds arent safe. Tomatoes in 5 gallon buckets for me from now on.
Those babies are adorable! You know Chris plucks me like a guitar 😆 fiona said what i told you about petting him?! I worry about mine too at some point in going to fence them in and the other creatures out 😆
I sill have questions after seeing this. My doubt come in as to timeline as to when to plant. This video is a year old I'm in IA so I think i can plant these now in my area. Great info and video thanks.
This happened to a section of my tomatoes and tomatillos last summer! I thought they were thirsty but it became clear that was not the case and they never recovered. Your video is the first I've seen mention the same condition. Do you know what causes it?
I hate this disease! I did a Google search on bacterial wilt and learned quite a bit of info: It lives in soil, and it thrives in warm temps (85° and up) and highly moist soil content.
@@GeauxGrow Oooooh. Bacterial wilt! I didn't put 2 and 2 together. Thanks so much for sharing this info!! I had an unseasonably cool summer last year, so the hot temps may not apply in my case, but soil definitely holds onto moisture because it's heavy clay. I def need to do more research. Thanks again!!
I got 2 or 3 trowels and at the moment i can't find not 1 of them 😆 i harvested my garlic about a week ago I'm so glad that's done 😂 now there is a million more things to do. 8:18 that is indeed a leek the way to tell is how thick that part is you were holding. on garlic that neck is thinner. Great job on telling us how to tell the difference between onions and garlic. Ground cherries are a mess they don't grow unless you don't want them to 😂
Nice place you have there. Really cool. Love it that you have got green fingers, and you are not fazed of gardening and creepy crawleys and insects ! Kudos.
