14:20 The difference is that all the other trek is other trek and GQ is NOT trek. Hamfisting this IP into a Trek game doesn't make it that.... and right before that asking if it's permanent or not, well, officers and ships are forever, soo, yeah this "crossover" is a permanent fixture that has changed the game... unlike the vast majority of other crossovers in thousands of other franchises that don't permanently change when they visit. STFC massively overstepped on this and extremely unapologetically so. It's seriously damaged my interest in continuing my ops 59 account I've had nearly 3 years. As if the constant bugs weren't enough, this is a big middle finger to the players.
The new battle pass is bullshimt. It the sane price for half the resources. They dropped the uncommons and rares by half and alot of other stuff. Why didnt they just have the balls to say. Hey the battle pass if you want the same rewards as usual. We are doubling the price to 40 a month for it. Because essentially thats what it has done. Last BP on the last par rewards i got over 2400 rares 5 star ore. This time its 1200. The proof is there.
I was able to get a single kill in the new hazard and it gave enough for a double pull. if i had been lucky with hostile placment i could have gotten 2. go in with full speed or full loot if you feel lucky and you might get your 1 to 2 kills
I did one outing. for all the grind, i got to pull a whapping 0 chests. If they don't run the invasions more often then this loop is worthless. Another F month from me.
The next arc will be “Lost in Space”. Epic officer Dr Smith’s officer power will be “we’re doomed, doomed doomed. Robots will be”Danger Will Robinson Danger!” Will Robinson won’t have an officer ability below deck or other.
Just a FYI: @ultimatdjzplayz acknowledged (on Discord) that there was a mistake on the video. At around 2:08, there's mention of Laliari's Lower-Deck Ability: Yalalalala! That ability increases the [Apex Barrier] by a raw amount, NOT a percentage!
The ratio of new content tol retired content is completely wrong. It's so exhausting that I started playing my old Pokémon games again because they're less grindy.
I'll tell you why this is NOT "basically the same" as other crossover events. Galaxy Quest is NOT Star Trek. And, for the record, we do not want The Orville or Space Balls or STAR WARS or DUNE or Glee or Game of Thrones or Beverly Hills Cop or any other non-Star Trek IP. This is a game that takes place in the STAR TREK storytelling universe. We can tolerate the constant disregard for canon in STFC but we DO NOT WANT non-Star Trek IP in our Star Trek Fleet Command. Not now, not EVER. And exactly what part of this core-dump of new loops and new currencies is SCOPELY's promise to put quality over quantity?
Honestly, I don't see this as being a fun arc. As a Star Trek fan I do see the link to Galaxy Quest but they are not the same or interchangeable imo. This will be a catch-up arc for me and might even be the first arc in 4 years where I consider NOT purchasing the battle pass because I don't intend on doing all the events. It's like saying Spaceballs is the same as Star Wars and vice versa, they are not the same either.
Add more to mu that alot of people don't like, brilliant, give players more of what they don't want..not to mention the seemingly evident cash grab...time for a new game?
I’m with you. I loathe the very idea of a new loop. The arc does look interesting, but I can’t say I’m excited to play it. Quality? No, quantity… again… some more…
you know, this all makes sense. It's not like we there are alot of other characters in the mirror universe or any ships that star trek introduced...... Oh wait.....
I’m all for a good crossover. But I’m not sure how I feel about the long-term effects of this one. I would’ve preferred an isolated month with the transformers for example
While i am not enthused about a new loop, the rewards may just be enough for some players to choose engagement. Free primes, a free ship and a free epic officer are notable offerings as rewards.

Thank you so much. I really do appreciate that. While I may not be a super huge fan of the loop itself, it is difficult to argue that they have provided many of the things I have asked for over the years, which is grinders paths for paid only items. The offering of prime researches a new epic officer and the ship all being grind for free is hard to ignore. Even if the loop may suck.
And another junk !! And I can still wait for the broken Monaveen practical training! And supposedly after 2 months the broken "forbidden technology" is finally repaired. allegedly!!
If you’re still having trouble with the monaveen field training reach out to me on Discord. That was fixed last month. The Kirshara artifact is also improved, but not yet perfect. But it is usable now.
Does anyone know if the new officers and new missions are a permanent part of Fleet Command or will they stop being available once the event ends? There's nothing I hate more than a crossover that isn't permanent.
I'm sure some stronger alliances will be quite upset if other weaker alliances comes and targets their "armada" and "wasting time". This is a disaster just waiting to happend
Big alliances aren’t likely targeting the same ones you are. There are different levels. That said if you are going against the same ones that the big alliances are targeting you’re not gonna defeat them anyway so I don’t believe that there should be a lot of rub there.
Good Video Dj, it has much better quality then the entirety of Scopely :) BUT.. I used to spend thousands of dollars in this game, lately I've become 100% F2P, theres no use in buying anything because they add new stuff so quickly that makes old things obsolete. And khirsarah is still broken, game still crashes, menues still buggy and slow. It's not fun anymore. And every arc missions is just the same, click through thousands of boring text lines, go here kill that, go back to station, over and over and over an...
I swear this is the only game I've played where people don't look forward to a crossover; but to be fair, when scopely barely does justice to the main ip and so many annoying and irritating bugs & road blocks exist, why would they be excited for any new content?
the difference is most crossovers don't make permanent changes. this could have been really fun as a temporary fan appreciation event, but well, Scopely messed that up to no one's surprise...
It’s still $20. But they’re offering two of them so you could spend 40 if you wanted double the rewards. My suggestion may be spend 20 like normal and choose which officer is more important to you. But participate in both of them for the free tracks and you’ll still get more than normal.
