California's energy grid can't handle mass use of air conditioning (they have brown outs) so how in God's name can any energy grid support mass EVs. Not to mention every other hazard and short sighted policy to do with being "green" or getting "net zero". If you dont like pride then you don't have to go. I too live in Brighton and lots of people came to watch the parade from parents children and lots of other people. So what if people are kissing dont you like it. We should all respect each other regardless of colour race and gender. Just because you don't like it. It will still go on and lots of business who have struggled due to the pandemic can now make money bringing more people into the city who will spend money ib a wide range of business. Is that not good for the economy or would you sooner more business close so we have less and empty. There are probably some things you do that people don't like what shall we do have a protest about you and stop you doing what you do. I should think about that if you do reply and if your church agrees with you then maybe you should start to open your mind more. Thats probably the reason why less people go to your church and others if they preach this. The church didn't want female priests but that went ahead which is a good thing. We are all different and have many different opinions about a wide range of subjects which is good. Children enjoy watching pride and some live with parents who are lgbt they may be two woman two men etc. The church seems to think that they can poke there noses into lots of subjects but they should just stick to religion and about god. There are people who get drunk who are not lbgt and children will probably see that as well. Do we want children not to know about different people as it gives them a wider understanding of the world with many different people from all races genders which is a good thing. We should all respect each other regardless of colour race and gender. I expect you don't like straight couples kissing in the street as children may see that as well. I am glad i dont go to church if this is what they say.
Children learn from others even in school so do you want to hide them away from society not meeting many different people until they reach adult hood where then it will be quite a shock for them or as children grow up and know that there are different people in the world. The pride is for many people to come out to celebrate and the parade is always good where many people come to watch whether you are lbgt straight and parents bring there children who also enjoy.
The drag queens are telling a story about different people and the children are not forced the parents take them there and are with them and listen to the story and am sure if the parents thought there was anything bad they would leave which they can. Drag Queen story time is about teaching diversity and inclusivity. No one is being forced to make their children attend and the parents are present the entire time. The drag queens involved are just reading children's stories. You people see a drag queen and immediately think "gay guy in a dress, therefore gay sex, therefore grooming children, therefore paedophile" while all the kids see is "big colourful person playing dress up and telling us stories" If only you focused this "concern for the children" towards groups that actually abuse kids.
