I had to make a choice : either show you the controls or the landscapes. Actually I have plenty of other videos with the camera targeted towards the outside 😅 But this one remains the most watched 🤷
I've got a couple of hundred hours on a PPL. Mainly straight and level. Only done a little aerobatics. It really knocks you around and it takes a long while to get used to. I'll never be an aerobatics pilot. In an age of computer sim flyers please don't forget how much work, practice, time and skill it costs to do it to this level seen in the video. Brilliant.
OMG! I died just watching this...let alone being strapped inside it! I really love flying in light aircraft but sadly my fuselage was not built for aeros! My hat comes off to you sir.....probably under negative G!
Hello Uwe. Thank you :) It is shot with a GoPro Max 360, mounted with a suction cup on the canopy. Very convenient for deciding afterwards the direction you want to look at, or to have a stable horizon.
@@jeremy_renard_aero Hi thanks for the quick answer. Which suction cup did you use? I want to use also one in my Extra. But I am not sure wehther the adhesion is good enough of such cups.
@@uwemuller5170 the GoPro is perfectly sufficient on a canopy. I used to put it also on the outside on gliders wings, but never dared to try it on an aerobatic aircraft at 400km/h though... 🤔
The push-to-talk button ! :) During a training flight, the coach is constantly giving me his feedback and advices from the ground on the radio, and sometimes I answer.
